Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing about the stay at the location was enjoyable or out right just bearable. It was underwhelming and extremely disappointing to say the least. Then when I went to turn the TV on and seen there wasn’t any service to watch anything other than static snow it confirmed my feelings of the stay being horrible and I ended my trip early to get out of there.

United Statesthe bedding had burn holes. spilled some water and the towel was pretty dirty just from wiping up a little spilled water. The bathroom tub was very dirty had to be cleaned before I used it. The heaters need to be cleaned bad and the baseboards in the rooms, are horrible dirty. The floors and baseboards around the doors and light switches need to be cleaned.

She fussed at me for a few minutes about why I didn't have 75 dollars for security deposit. Also repeated to tell me that it was a non smoking room. She couldn't understand why I didn't have enough money to be in the room.
The location was fine. New flooring looks great. Appliances worked.

United StatesThe room was dirty when we first arrived and the motel itself wasn’t in great shape. Also, there was no breakfast or coffee provided, no microwave in the room, and the vending machine snacks were stale. No deadbolts or secure locks on doors.
The location was convenient and the staff was friendly. Also the price was very affordable.
