We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI didn’t sleep but 2 hours because there was dogs barking and a guy outside my door yelling about rats being on him and he thought he was dying.. apparently he was naked because a woman kept telling him to put his clothes on. I did NOT feel safe at all. It was roughly a half hour before she called the police.

First time in all my years of traveling have I seen a roach in a motel room! I had to leave my cat food out but I was worried roaches would get in it! They need to spray for bugs, charge a few dollars more, at least no roaches! Nasty
