Some of the guests. One guest didnt have her dog on a leash and it almost attacked us! She didnt even apologize. Another thing we didnt like was how the walls were so thin u could hear everything. We heard a couple fighting for hours..

Loved the location!!! It was near everything, so we got to places quick. Also loved the tv channel options, and we also liked the scenery around the hotel.

Parking lot was full both nights and had to park on the street.

It was central to Carmal and Monterrey aquarium. It was also very close to a mall with a Whole Foods and pharmacy.

The room smell of dirty wet dogs. I asked for room spray and they didn’t have any. They did try to move me to another room but it wasn’t much better. The floor was also very dirty.

Upstairs room is super bright at night- walkway lights don't turn off till 6am. Soap was provided, but shampoo, conditioner, etc. you must bring. Way overpriced but understandable for Rennsport weekend- $300 per night for a ** hotel.

The lack of a kettle to boil water. The bouncing ball, to keep a dog occupied above our head, and the scrabble to fetch it.

There was a hair Dryer, fridge & microwave… The Vietnamese restaurant onsite was great, though we only just made the 7:45 last entry of seating.

The refrigerator was rusted and falling apart with the seal at the top not even contacting the frame, the curtains didn't really hang on the rod all the way across in the room and we had to secure them ourselves.

Location, friendly and efficient staff at front desk, shower was great with good water pressure, curved out curtain, no slip mat for tub (albeit old appearing).

It could use a lamp or 2 for better lighting. The stopper in the sink wasn't working very well.

The room was comfortable and stayed warm, even without the heater on. The hot water in the shower was wonderful. Location was perfect.

This is a really nice Motel 6, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Our first room assigned didn’t work out (that one still needed turnover) and the staff was quick to assist and provide a new room. We brought our dog with us and the room was perfect for all. Great location, with a shopping mall a block away and downtown a few minutes away by car or foot. This location is also a short distance from Cannery Row, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pacific Grove. Short drives to all. There aren’t many places on the property to take your pup out for relief, but a quick walk around the neighborhood did the trick. Definitely recommend.

The room was dirty, there were chunks out of the wall, mold in the corners. It had been painted and had some of the newer motel 6 furnishings, but nothing of substance had been renovated. I noticed that in the lobby there was a burnt out outlet, several outlets in our room didn’t work, and the ones that did sparked a bit more than I’m used to. It smelled musty. It was truly a shame because aside from the actual interior facilities, it has all the makings for a great budget stay. Everything that an individual staff member had control over was perfect, the building just needs A LOT of work. Which is on the owner, not the staff.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the exterior of the hotel is probably one of the cutest motel 6s I’ve ever seen, and the location was great. It was very friendly to our dog, had a decent place for her to go to the bathroom, and great places to eat nearby. There’s even a slight view of the water from the sidewalk. Which for motel 6 is saying something.

During check-in, the staff had no words and made no attempt to make us feel welcome to their facilities. The door to our room had a pretty big gap in the bottom allowing for this big horse fly to come into the room! The shower head was squirting water out of the tub so we just turned the shower head so instead of squirting water out of the tub and running onto the floor and carpet the water just squirted to the shower wall. It was a decent stay for last minute changes.

The location was great. It was close to several stores and restaurants and within minutes driving distance to the wharf.

The room we got this time was less than desirable. The bathroom door did not close, the fridge was noisy.

This motel is always clean and easy to get in and out of.

The prices were of course on the high side, although that's to be expected along the coast and the staff wasn't overly friendly, but we did appreciate our stay overall.

The room was nice, the location was close to a walking path across the street for the dogs and was only 10 minutes from the ocean and Fisherman's wharf which was convenient.
