It was not a great area and the rooms weren't the greatest it terms of cleanliness and looks.

Pool is closed down for months and we were not aware of this. Loud drunk people running the halls at midnight. Found broken glass in the hallway. Toilet runs non stop. Water was white in color. TV had 4 channels.

When I walked into the room the window was open (with no screen) and the AC was set at 61 degrees and blasting cold air. It's your money, and that seems like a giant waste. The floor felt like it was washed with a liter of pepsi and left to dry - it was sticky and there were dirty spots. When flushing the toilet, I had to hold down the handle until the tank emptied. And it ran off and on and off and on if I didn't tap the handle after. There was a large full trash bag in the hall near my room from the time I arrived until some time Saturday night. It was gone Sunday morning when I checked out. Would have been nice to have a light over the desk/table. The dead bolt didn't work.

Wifi worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The woman who greeted me when I got there and when I left (same woman) was friendly and helpful.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the betting was not good. bathroom was dirty and only one little tiny soap.

The staff was virtually nonexistent. They didn't come to collect our trash and dirty towels or provide clean towels. The room was dirty. There were dirty washcloths in the shower. We had to clean the table off to even eat at it when we arrived. The bed was pretty hard. Overall, it was a decent experience.

It was pet friendly, which is a plus. The room was spacious enough. There was a nice table to eat at. The lighting was nice. Plenty of outlets.

I like that the windows opened in the rooms so you had to option of having fresh air when you wanted it. I liked the guy at the desk was somewhat friendly and so were the other people that work there. I liked that the rooms were newly remodeled and the beds were extremely clean probably brand new. I like the television channel selection. I'd like that I had a table and chairs in my room and a microwave. I like the convenience of the parking lot. I like that there was a gas station within walking distance as a matter of fact there were two gas stations within walking distance, and a waffle House for breakfast first thing in the morning. And I like that you only had to drive across the highway to find a huge selection of food and there were selections on the same side of the road as I was on. I believe there was a Chicago pizza right there next to the gas station that was right in front of the hotel. And you drove across the highway and there was a McDonald's Burger King Taco Bell another gas station a Culver's and I think a bank down there. I like that the location of the hotel was probably less than a mile from the center of Franklin so you had a ton of stores to shop at. And the room sizes, and all of them I stayed in the rooms were bigger than I had expected.

All of their bottom floor apartments were taken. In other words the rooms on the bottom floor were running out for 3 months in advance. So even though I was 62 years old I climbed a steep stairway. Stay away at the very back it was a lot more easily accessed because it offered a platform in the middle of the steps. In other words you climb half the steps out of the platform turn and go up the other half of the steps so they weren't as deep as walking up the steps at the front of the building. It advertises a pool they have a pool they just don't have water in the pool. I was really impressed the first time I stayed because I was in a king suite that had the cutest little booth. The refrigerator in both rooms I stayed in froze everything solid that I had purchased to eat. I had three salads that were frozen and ruined. I had to throw them out because I could not eat the lettuce you cannot freeze lettuce and then eat it. It becomes water like. I think I've stayed there for over or about 3 weeks total recently. I don't like that with I run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night I have to get in my car and go get it. Well it's kind of a good and a bad thing, the hotel staff comes in and opens at 11:00 in the morning and they will promptly shut down at 10:00 at night. Which is inconvenient since I worked sometimes till 9:00 and we're not able to get back over to the hotel in time to extend the stay. And since I had to get up the next morning and be at work by 10:45 and he didn't show up there until 11:00 there was no way of extending the stay. Also there was trash everywhere, the front trash can was usually overflowing with trash, the hallways people would sit their trash out in the middle of the hallway and I thought it was for housekeeping to pick up however I put my trash out in the hallway and it was there that night so I was the one who carried it downstairs.

Smell upon entering the room was pungent and awful. Triggered an asthma attack upon entering. The wall had a small hole in it and had mild under the opennsinknarea and along the wall that the sink was on up about 4 inches along several feet. The air conditioner was leaking into a puddle on the floor that was creating a line of water through the room. The hotel advertised a pool which was not open and under construction.

The gentleman at the event desk had a smile and was nice.

The hotel had sold and we were told we they wouldn't honor or reservation( I had made the arrangements online ). They gave us a room at a higher cost. There were no hangers, the shower didn't work , the remote was broken.
