Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe smell of the hotel was not good. It had a lingering smell of smoke. I sell furniture so of course I look at furniture more closely than most but the entry sitting area seemed very run down and the carpet was stained and dirty. I felt the furniture could use a makeover and the walls there was peeling wallpaper and outdated decoration.
I felt the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and helpful because I had trainings all day and it was nice to take a few snacks with me to help with that. I appreciate the hot tub and pool as well. I would say it was a good value for the money.

United StatesThe pool room was dirty, the bathroom shower in our room had a ton of hair in it, and the actual room that we were given was not the one that we had booked online. Instead we were told that the images of our room were old and needed to be updated. After finding out that the room we had did not exist, we ended up switching rooms because the television was inoperable. Once we entered our second room, we were again disappointed. The bathroom was so small that I could barely turn around and had extreme difficulties bathing our toddler. Furthermore, the bathroom shower was covered in hair. It was disgusting. What was worse that it seemed to be a habit of this hotel to give away dirty rooms. More than one patron complained to the desk clerk about the untidy residencies and facilities. Which was not addressed or seen as a concern. We will never be back and most likely will never use a La Quinta hotel chains due to this disqusting encounter.
The location was right in the middle of town.
