My only complaint was the lack of sound insulation. We were next to a family with a young child one night, and you could hear everything.

This is a beautiful property. A lot of attention to detail in the decorative features. Beds were very comfortable.

We arrived to an unplugged refrigerator, so our food had to stay out for a few hours while the fridge cooled. There is also a wonderful stained glass door in the entrance, however, the parking lot streetlamp shines directly through the door and onto the bed, which made sleeping a challenge.

We liked the feel and aesthetic of the room, the closeness to our morning destination, and the ease of check in-check out. The host was also very responsive to any questions.

The room was fantastic. The location to Ithaca NY and Taughannock falls was perfect. Clean, well set up and thought out.

1) No hot water kettle in room 2) Only paper plates/cups and plastic utensils available 3) We weren't sure if tap water is potable and there wasn't a hot water kettle to boil water, so we chose to buy bottled water for consumption 4) No staff on premise. Communication can only be done through leaving phone messages. There was no direct phone contact for urgent queries Despite the above which caught us by surprise, we managed and enjoyed our stay. Will consider returning again.

Our front door to our unit had a glass front which let in the light from the parking lot until late in the evening. There was also a window that had stained glass that let light into the room as well so morning we had light coming in from that window and the front door. Prevented us from sleeping in.

Beautiful countryside location. Had a few fire pits to enjoy and a games room, bbqs to share. Wonderful Japanese style toilet (very posh)

I cannot boast about this place enough. It's a beautifully designed cottage with surprising details everywhere you look. So spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt like a spa! Nestled in a wooded area we were greeted with a couple of very cute deer as we drove in. It was pure paradise. Perfect for couples or families who want to explore the Finger Lakes.

During the night there is light from the parking place shining through the glass door into the room. A curtain or something to block the light for would be a good idea! Some things were a bit worn off/broken/didn't work properly (fly screen, breakfast table on the terrace) Nothing huge, but could have a look at it. We never saw any staff but we liked to information map with all kinds of tips.

My Parlour Suite was unique in its decor. It was very spacious and felt like a small apartment. I loved the bathroom with the large walk in shower and Japanese Toto toilet. So many fun details including an old Bell telephone booth just because…. Very convenient for visiting all the gorgeous Ithaca falls and Cornell.

No service or staff

The room and the property is absolutely stunning. There is absolutely no service though. Called and messaged several times on the numbers provided but no one really responded. Gets a bit challenging after one night since there is no change of towels or housekeeping. More like an airbnb. Din't see a single staff in the 3 days we were there.

The entrance to the place is not very visible specifically at night and we missed it once. It would be a lot better and safer for those first time cottage users if the signage is improved and made more visible even at night.

From the outside, the cottage didn't look appealing but when we got inside we were blown away by the lay-out, the finish, the materials and the over-all appeal of the interior. It was very nice and we'll probably book again if we have the chance to visit the area.

Wish they had blinds on colored glass pane window. Also the shower floor was tilted to one side and water was pooling in the corner.

Nice open space outdoors for the dogs. Room is spacious and pretty. The swinging chair was comfortable and the coffee was good.

the cottage kitchen has flimsy plastic wine glasses and disposable plates and utensils - likely this helps make turnover faster, but it was just a little incongruent with the rest of the setting and detracted from the ambiance - at a minimum, there is higher quality unbreakable glassware that would be a better fit

unique cottages in an idyllic setting, yet close to the local universities it would be a lovely spot to host a reunion or other event - we really appreciated the craftsmanship in the mosaic work, stained glass, and exterior woodwork of our cottage, the balloon room.

The space was incredible. It had everything we needed, blow dryer, coffee machine, fridge, and even doggy treats, I loved the small touches. They brought us extra towels immediately when we requested, and the common room was so much fun!
