The bed was under the window with a curtain that didn't prevent the light to get in and there were a public light just under the window.

Staff were constantly yelling at each other. Slightly misleading pictures of the residence.

This is an economical place to stay. Clean.

The room was tiny and smelly, moist, had no ventilation or access to air at all. Location is really far from the landmarks and downtown. No grocery or supermarket nearby.

Room is small but for the price and only one night it’s fine. The women’s a bathroom/shower is kind of communal layout, do individual showers or provide areas to get changed. The first door does have a key pad to ensure females only but would’ve liked a lot more privacy. More like a swimming pool changing room.

Location is about 25 mins from LAX in traffic so good if you have a layover. It’s self check in completely - there’s no staff but you get sent very clear instructions

Room had no natural light. TV wasn't connected. Previous occupant's trash was still in the room. Bathroom facilities were rather limited (there was only one sink in the shared bathroom).

Relatively affordable. Good local bus connections (to LAX, Venice Beach, and Westwood). Great advance information on access.

Guests don’t keep the bathroom clean. It is not the owner’s fault. But this is not Nice!

Owner and manager are very nice people. They were at the hostel when I arrived and that was very good. Kitchen is big. Location is good, close to cofee shops etc.

There was no one around the day I checked in, which made the place feel creepy. No obvious wifi information (but I didn't look very hard).

Great price for private room. Pretty convenient and smooth stay overall. Close to the beach by car.

It was noisy at night. The main door bangs everytime someone comes in. Our room had a window ontoa main street. There were sirens a few times in the middle of the night while I was trying to sleep.

this is a great place just to lay your head if youre running around LA all day. My twin room was great and i liked how I had a code to get in. The only issue was how long it took the showers to heat up. Clean.

The pillows were bad, and the double beds a bit too narrow for two adults. The big room had only one little mirror. Mens shower and toilets was dirty and their shower did not have warm water.

The location was very good and the rooms specoius and clean. Womens facilities, living area and kitchen was tidy and clean.

Beds were just ok. No ventilation in room, walls are thin, noisy. Doors make a lot of noise when opened and shut. Wouldn't stay here again even though it's very reasonable and in great location.

Bit more fixing up here and there would be ok. People stole cutlery, so there was a bit of searching for it, till we got everything we needed. Laundry actually not included but we talked to the manager and he made an exception.

Housekeeping was awesome! She was super helpfull and friendly all the time. We loved jer and she's doing a great job. Was clean everywhere. As far as I heard, they changed the housekeeping staff. Other people staying there were also super cool. You have enough space in your room and also in the living area and kitchen. Very open for improvement and suggestions. It's not a 5* hotel but definitely perfect for that prize. It's more like AirBnB with shared facilities I would say.

these are minor things but still worth noting: the strong smell that floated in every corner of the hostel lingered in my clothes long after I came back from my trip. It was an extremely pungent odor of ammonia and maybe smoke, although the area was smoke-free. the walls in the bedrooms are paper thin so I could hear my neighbours inside the hostel loud and clear. I happened to have one right next to me whose late night phonecalls could be heard through the night and I was once woken up earlier than my alarm by another tenant screaming off the top of his lungs one morning. the kitchen could be much cleaner.

very nice price for what it was. the hostel was well connected by bus to where I had to be for my work meetings that week. my room was clean and the comforter smelled of freshly washed. the room was small but functional, it had everything I needed. the bathrooms were really clean, I appreciated that. super spacious kitchen where I could leave the stuff I wanted to use daily for my breakfasts and snacks. the week I was there the hostel wasn't very crowded so I got to enjoy the huge showers by myself. I would definitely come back, as it satisfied my few needs.

the bathrooms are dirty, no toilet paper, no change of towels I think someone lives in the hostel and they makes so much noise at night, it seems like it didn't come from other guests
