Solely relied on phone communication with host (no reception or staff on site) which can be tricky if they’re not available.

Very large space, great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Easy check-in and living instructions. Great location close to cool shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Access to Hostel before and during arrival as an unknown, keeps you tense. It is a very simple process, yet you have to call upon arrival. For foreign visitors who may not have a local phone line it would be difficult. Brief pre-information via e-mail etc. would be better.

Modern and comfortable. Very professionally organised hostel, has all the basic needs. Location wise convenient and cosy. Has a gas station across the street and a neighbouring gym if you are into it.

Room has no AC (building has strong AC and get the room cold via door gap), has a fan inside. I leave door open to get cooler. Shower water pressure (okay level) and temp (hot but take 5mins) hope to be better

Hotel details and actuality are very different. All facilities are non-existent. All showers are water, two have lost shower heads. No front desk. I tried to call the front desk but the accented English was difficult to understand. Rooms are not clean. There is only one sink in the building. All guests, male and female, have to share one sink. Drug addicts in the lobby are very dangerous. I had to cancel my plan to stay for 2 nights. I cancelled my plan to stay 2 nights and stayed 1 night.

Place was dirty, shared bathroom was really dirty and there are only curtains covering the cubicles. There was no hot water and the sink was covered in dirt. The mattress was dirty and there were no sheets on the bed. Place smelled like smoke (including weed). Host was difficult and not accommodating.

There was a slight delay checking in even though I was there after check-in time as they couldn't work out if the room was ready, but it was. The guy was responsive though. I should have just asked which room it was first and checked myself!

Perfect for a night in LA. Huge deluxe room was GIANT compared to the single I had last time. Makeup mirror and desk, wardrobe, bedside tables, great. Good location not far from the airport. I love that you can just go in without having to deal with reception.

the gap between the toilet doors and the wall is huge, you can see straight into the toilet wheh it’s locked - not very private!

Many of these reviews are too harsh. this place is great value for money in a great location and was clean and tidy. I’ve stayed in more expensive ‘hostels’ that were far worse than this place, I’d stay here again.

I had a great stay here. The hostel was very clean, the staff was very attentive with quick response, my room was comfortable and I really liked the outdoor patio area. It was very close to my job, will book here in the future.

I've never stayed at a hostel before and for my first experience this was awesome. The accommodations were very neat and clean and exactly how the pictures look. I was very pleased with my room and the price that paid. There was even a complimentary towel in the room to use. I have to return to L.A frequently for short stays in the next few months I definitely will return.

The room was hot during check in BUT the on site host was so kind and helpful she turned up the A.C. for us no problem

No deposit, very spacious! They have a large patio area, showering hygiene, lots of thick good towels and blankets to sleep with, lots of cooking utensils, pots, pans, I can go on and on.. the TV had Netflix, and other apps we were able to use, there's free parking in back of the building

First, nobody meets you when you get there, you have to go up stairs, which is very uncomfortable, specially when you are travelling with children and big suitcases, and lastly the room was burning hot, no air conditioning, we couldn't sleep. I'm so grateful we only spend one night there.

location, door dash, Lyft, the taxi weren’t able to locate the building although I gave detailed information via their apps. I never received my door dash meals, I had to walk to a known establishment in the rain for my transport. there was no warm/hot water. I had the water on for 30 mins and was still cold - the temperature was 7 degrees and I had to have cold showers. there was only a old thin blanket on the bed and when requested for an extra blanket I was dismissed. the kitchen was filthy, bathrooms filthy, showers disgusting, common areas were disgusting with rubbish. people were smoking weed and it was coming into my room via the vents and I was so sick from it - migraines-vomiting and I was experiencing effects from it.

Check in was terrible. Nothing makes sense and no instructions on anything. All dirty. People Smoking pot in the halls. No TV on the rooms, they lie on their website that there are tvs. . Big TV on living room broken. Cleaning does not happen

Nothing. Price is not OK for a place like this. Pictures are not accurate. Its gross to be there. Bathrooms have hairs all over. Dust. Its simply gross. People smoking weed and smoke going indoors to your room.
