Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe hotel was unable to locate a reservation, the name was slightly misspelled on the reservation and the front desk was unable to pick up on the error. Our employee had to pay out of pocket for his stay. However, the Hotel not long after charged our business card for a "no show". Making a total of 3 charges for 1 stay, the hotel later dropped the "no show" charge, but the room cost our school district double because of the error.

United StatesNot a pretty hotel like advertised. Patio furniture in disarray. Someone had pooped in elevator and it smelled terrible! They allow barking dogs. Shower was gross around edges. Not a great hotel for the high price tag. Disappointed for sure.

Could not reach the hotel to get service, no phone number to the hotel. had to go through a third party. really was upsetting coming in at night and no one to contact. Luckly, a car service meets the train when it comes in, otherwise I would have been stuck at the train station alone at night..

The bar closed at 10 PM. The menu at the restaurant was limited and didn't match the one listed on their website.
