Modern suite tucked in a historic building! Very quiet, perfectly clean and accomodating room. Best place downtown and I recommend get the parking. I will return!

The front door area should be cleaned and maintained. The rooms are being cleaned and that should extend to outside the property and inside the front door area which was full of dust and post on the floor. It would give a better impression of the lovely accommodation particularly when there is no attendent concierge/front desk person.

Lovely room and a very comfortable bed. The room was tastefully decorated and it was quiet.

No elevator (please understand that I get why there isn’t!! I was 100% aware when I booked; I knew it would be a downside but given the history of the building, putting in an elevator is not realistic) The mattress was a bit hard, but nothing so bad that we couldn’t sleep Parking was extra even though there’s a lot with reserved spots for the Oakland

The only thing that bothered me a bit was the light from surrounding buildings, the host can use a curtain instead of a shutter. The host also can consider a storage place for the guests after they check out. Except that everything was beautiful!

I like this type of room, and I could cook simple meals for myself.

I had the studio with a 3-window corner with a desk. The fact that this is a historical relic and the owner creates a walkable timeline throughout the house is a wonderful experience. Not sure what is proximal.

Bed and pillow were not all that comfortable.

Just a few blocks from the concert venue we went to. Updated, attractive studio. Such a lovely, quaint space, and was a great price! Parking is not included, but a number of reasonably priced lots were nearby.

Unfortunately the location was also a bit loud at night, at least at the time I visited. It's not a problem for me, but if you're a light sleeper it's something to be aware of.

Great value, and the location is very convenient for visiting a lot of the downtown areas including the convention center.

The sheets were brightly clean, but they were a little old and had some pilling. The kitchen supplies could be better selected (there were no teaspoons and the pans weren’t exactly the right type of metal for the induction cooktop, so it was a little hit-or-miss on getting them to work).

The location can’t be beat: 7 minutes walk to the entrance to the convention center and just blocks from various stores to get what you need for a nice stay. The space was clean, cozy, and the kitchenette had plenty of space and equipment for food prep. This is a really special building in the middle of an area with lots of big-name hotel chains. So glad they are preserving this building and letting people use it!

Part of the rug was sticking up so could have tripped and couldn't get the thermostat to work but luckily it was nice weather. Also couldn't get just regular TV stations.

Water flow regulators limited the shower pressure but I guess it's good to conserve even thought that was a bit disappointing.

Great location withing walking distance of the convention center and downtown businesses, including a Target store a few blocks away. Fascinating history and wonderful restoration job. Would definitely stay here again.

Water pressure in the shower was very low. Shower door was broken.

We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional ambience./style of the room and decor. History of the building was also very interesting!
