Entry area and part of the lobby area was under construction for updates. It wasn’t an inconvenience, just not expected. Wonderful room and well equipped with the exception of the shower head . It was dismal.

The hotel was beautiful and had a wonderful parking garage. Many restaurants within walking distance.

A Pleasant Surprise in Old Town Wichita

Our room was very comfortable, but we thought the in-room 'kitchenette' was overkill. Also, it would have been nice to have a nightstand on both sides of the bed. A King bed would have been nice too.

Great location in Old Town Wichita! It's close to quite a few restaurants, brewpubs and bars, most of which were unfortunately closed on Monday when we stayed there. This part of Wichita was really a pleasant surprise having never been there before and also having no serious expectations. It was very quiet during our stay - eerily so, given the downtown location. The hotel itself was formerly a factory and featured a lot of interesting memorabilia from those days. The free parking right next door was excellent. We appreciated the cleanliness of the city as well.

The piano bar was not open. There was no piano player and the cocktail bar never opened.

Location and parking was perfect. Lobby was very welcoming and loved the coffee bar.

I wish the staff new the city better. I asked if they knew of a bar with live music. They didn't know of any. There was one across the street.

    Great location. Free Secluded Parking.

Coffee in lobby wasn't as good as the French in the room. Sorry to say anything negative.

The beauty of the lobby entranced me. The French coffee in the room? C'est bon! Bath products received A+....Loved the way the washcloths were folded which added to the decor. Also, safety after 8:00....I had to be buzzed in by staff.

When booking, there was no indication that the hotel was remodeling 2 of its 4 floors. There was no noise to worry about, but the dumpster in the front of the hotel and the cardboard-wrapped elevators took away from enjoying the facility. The rooms on the 4th floor which are the ones available appear to have been recently renovated, however, the carpet in the hallway is way past its prime. In addition, there were no lamps by the bed in our particular room, and the AC was very loud throughout the night.

The hotel's location is quite convenient to a number of bars and restaurants. The 4th floor room was comfortable and had a great view of a courtyard across the street.

The bed was super uncomfortable and every time you used the sink or toilet the pipes rattled terribly. Also there was no counter in the bathroom so no where to put any of your stuff.

    The atmosphere was neat.

There was hardly anyone staying in the hotel, but for some reason, they put us in a room just about as far away from the elevator as possible. They put us on the 3rd floor with a crappy view of an alley. OK, one night, we can live with that. However - the 4th floor and other parts of the hotel are under renovation. We were woken up in the morning around 8 am to extremely loud construction noises. It sounded like they were literally drilling and hammering on the ceiling of our room. The bed seemed too small to be a queen, and wasn't very comfortable.

The location was perfect for us, within walking distance to old towne bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly, and the property was beautiful. The room was very nice, with old fashioned decor. The bathroom was huge, and the toiletries smelled good.

Staff was not the least bit friendly!

The breakfast was a joke. They changed $15 for a skimpy buffet that other hotels give at no charge. Needless to say nobody was eating it. The staff was not very friendly. They were cold and impersonal. Would not stay there again. We need a room for tomorrow in the same city, but will stay at another hotel.

front desk said they wouldn’t help me get my luggage to my room even though I was by myself with two small children. they wouldn’t bring a blanket to the room. they didn’t refill hot water or coffee in the lobby. they were lazy and made excuses for their laziness. poor service and due to laziness of front staff we would never return.

    pretty rooms.
