The breakfast was delicious and the staff was lovely. Top notch ingredients used with a nice variety. Excellent tea selection. The spa was a lovely surprise and most welcome after a day exploring the coast.

I enjoyed the facilities, but would have preferred more variety for vegans for breakfast. Also noticed nobody mentioned a 1 dollar daily charge to donate to the maintenance of Cape Perpetua. I would have preferred to have the staff to give us the choice to donate rather than automatically billing us.

Easy access to the beach and great view of beach from the room. I also appreciated the charging stations.

The breakfast had a nice variety of items and the staff were very friendly in their greeting and explanation of the breakfast items. The warmed coffee mugs were terrific! Nice job. The reception parking was well-lit and welcoming.

Breakfast has to be scheduled in advance. I don't always know what time I will wake-up, so that's a little off putting, but not a big deal. Decent selection of breakfast items, but no toast available. I enjoyed breakfast, but hubby didn't like it.

I am not a fan of the new buffet setup where employees serve you but the food is still good. I remember it being a lot better and easier when you could serve yourself but I guess this is a result of Covid or whatever. There was one staff member (a woman with short hair) who was extremely unfriendly and acted like she was annoyed when I went up to ask for seconds. This is definitely not typical of the Overleaf as most of the staff is very friendly. I also miss the happy hour they used to do in the afternoons.

The Overleaf Lodge is my happy place! I have relatives who live locally but always make it a point to stay here at least one night! Summertime on the coast is amazing so what better place to stay...right on the ocean with gorgeous views!

The views are fabulous and the walkable trails just outside from our hotel are beautiful.

It was all wonderful.

The room was clean and had a lovely view ocean side. The windows were screened so we could hear the waves at night. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. The spa was really nice and relaxing to use. All of the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was better than expected.

If I had to nit pick, the "breakfast buffet" really had fewer selections than some Best Westerns I've been to. I was looking for biscuits and gravy , scrambled eggs with a side of sausage links...and they served very small portions on small plates ...and things like a mushroom omelette muffin with (Oscar Mayer type ) one thin piece of bacon...and some kind of Sawgrass tapioca. Maybe I'm not elegant enough for that breakfast. Lol. Very nice breakfast room tho.

Everything! The room, the view, the room, the view. It was the best location to spend our last 2 nights on the Oregon Coast. Small low tide pool sea life , huge expanse of rocky shoreline that makes for beautiful pics from our third floor window. Non stop waves caress the beach constantly , which makes for great sleep if you leave the windows cracked. Many of the local bird life pass the window with glimpses of sea lions and pelicans. Room was clean and very comfortable. I loved the window seat, perfect for ocean watching when you wake up early and just feel like vreathing in the ocean air.
