Check in was smooth and room was spacious, plenty of room for a family of 4. Liked the happy hour and pool and spa. Breakfast offered hot buffet and cold items, juices and coffee. Good way to start the day!

The staff at Oxford Suites were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The complementary breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold options to set you up nicely for the day. The pool area was spacious, the pool is heated, towels are provided and the jacuzzi is fab. Reasonably priced laundry facilities were also very useful. The hotel is situated a bit outside of Pismo Beach, but taxis are always available and although we didn’t use it, the staff informed us that, depending on staffing levels, a shuttle bus to Pismo Beach may be available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return at some stage in the future.

The room was dated needing new carpeting. some of the carpet was showing wearing with some carpet strands unraveling. I didn't like the fact that the sink was separate from the bathroom, but was in the bedroom. If someone gets up at night the water is loud possibly waking up the other person in the bed. The shower was difficult to figure out having two different things to turn just to turn it on, I tried to turn it off and ending up getting cold water on me. I was awake then! Breakfast was disappointing, it was served buffet style, We were there when they opened, they had servers to serve you. The eggs were watery, sausage was lukewarm, and the waffles were over cooked, you could toss them like a frisbee. They also had tator-tots but they were cold and not crispy, disappointing since we were there when they ripped off the plastic film to start serving them from buffet trays.

The Hotel staff was Friendly and helpful. The lobby was big with a fireplace and a lounge/bar behind the fireplace. They had carts available to help transport luggage which was nice. The room was large and clean with the living room and bedroom being separate by a pocket door. The behind us was the dogpark. The 101 freeway entrance south was right across from the hotel driveway entrance. We received two tickets each for a free well drink and appetizers in the evening from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and a free breakfast starting at 7! The breakfast area got loaded fast!

It sits just off the highway so there was a little road noise.

Oxford was a nice hotel which suited our purposes as an overnight stay on our roadtrip. The hotel is a little tired and could do with a refresh but overall it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic but lovely. It's a bonus to have breakfast thrown into the cost of the stay.

Room was a bit worn. Couch in suite looked old and upholstery torn. Bed was not comfortable, too lumpy. Coffee not good in am. Price very high for this hotel.
