When we entered the room, it was not very clean (there were leftovers of food on the sofa and leftover coffee on the sideboard). In addition, the air conditioner did not work, the hotel provided us with a heater instead. The hotel charges $30 for parking, even though the hotel is not located in a central location and there is really no choice but to park at the hotel.

The room is very beautiful and spacious, very nicely decorated. The hotel staff was approachable and responded quickly

Price was on the high side, especially because the hotel is located quite a bit outside of Santa Barbara, although it's an easy drive into SB. If you want to park your car, the hotel charges a parking fee that is higher than most places in Santa Barbara.

We did enjoy our stay very much and would recommend this hotel, especially due to the great service that was offered. We arrived late & got assigned a different room type than what we booked. The staff at reception couldn't be more apologetic and made it worth by offering compensation. Nice grounds (incl pool with comfortable seats), nice rooms, comfortable beds, restaurant with great food & excellent cocktails, breakfast restaurant with good options and good coffee.

The hotel restaurant was good, but on the pricier side.

The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The food was good, and there was enough variety for vegan/vegetarian needs.

The soundproofing is not good, and we heard the kids above us every morning. If you think this would bother you, I would select a second-floor room. Thankfully, we brought our earplugs. The air handler was very loud and we kept the system turned off for the duration of our stay. Not that hotel’s fault, but they were cutting down an chipping a giant tree beginning at 10:00 p.m. each night.

Room was spacious enough for our family of 5 and large dog, and had a little patio the looked out over the pool. The grounds were lovely and the pool area was great. The decor is very clean and modern, with tasteful furnishings and comfortable beds. The gym is small, but nice.

Our second stay was not as nice as the first. Our room was on the first floor and the door jam had a large gap. This allowed a LOT Of highway traffic noise into the room. This wasn't the case for our first stay. I would recommend a garden view room!

This was our second stay at this property. We enjoy the room size, the division between living and sleeping areas and the beautiful grounds on the property. Everyone was very kind and helpful and it is soooo conveniently located to the airport.

Had we not tried the restaurant for breakfast, I would have given this hotel a 10. However, my daughter and I did decide to eat on property rather than venture out looking for somewhere else. The restaurant itself was adorable, though it was quickly clear it was understaffed. A guy kind of grunted for us to sit anywhere and once seated we waited patiently for menus. Finally we looked the menus up on our phones and eventually we did get paper copies. We ordered right away (my daughter got eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and asked for toast on the side and I got overnight oats, so nothing that needed cooking). A bit after we ordered the woman at the table next to us ordered, then eventually two more women walked in, sat down and ordered, then a family of 4 came in and ordered. The woman next to us finally asked for her food to go and got it....and we still hadn't gotten ours yet. Then the women next to us got their food. I made eye contact with the waiter and he mouthed he would check on our food. He was gone for a long time, then came out with food for the family. At this point we had waited over 45 min for our food and were running out of time. I flagged him down again and said that we needed it to go now because we had to leave. He went back into the kitchen and about 5 min later came out with a bag which he handed to me, I asked for the check and he said it was taken care of and then he disappeared back into the kitchen. I peered in the bag and realized we had no utensils. So I waited. The women at the table next to us were incredulous this was all happening and one got up to look on the table by the door for utensils. Finally another man came out and we asked for utensils, which he went back and got. Once we got back to our room to scarf down our food while packing up we realized that my daughter didn't get her toast. Fine, not a big deal, but annoying.

We had a very lovely room - it had a sitting area with a bistro size table and a comfortable couch and then double beds in the adjoining room. It was very well decorated, clean and seemed very updated. The bathroom was well lit and comfortable although I would have liked a lighted makeup mirror and somewhere to hang hand towels near the sink.

The pocket door stuck from the bedroom to the rest of the suite and we had to have the other couple in the unit with us open the door from the outside. We notified the hotel after the stay and they apologized and said they would get it fixed.

We had a Jr suite which was a nice size. We slept four adults very comfortably and still had enough space throughout the unit to all get ready in the morning.

The location is far from the city of Santa Barbara. It is necessary to take the highway for a trip of around 20 minutes. The location charges a daily parking fee of US$35.00, in my opinion not fair, since there is no valet service and the location was not in a big city. Unnecessary charge, especially considering the rate already charged by the hotel. The charge was not friendly.

Beautiful guesthouse. New facilities, large bedroom with living room and plenty of technological accessories. The hotel lobby is a very pleasant space. The decor of the inn is sophisticated, making the place very pleasant.

We were 4 adults in the room, but everything was set up for 2 : 2 mugs, 2 glasses… The parking is overpriced ! I don’t understand when an hotel is outside the city, on its own property, they make you pay $30 to park ! Also mentioned it was a birthday celebration and they replied by email saying they will try to accommodate something special on arrival, nothing was done. In this case, don’t mention anything

The very large suite, lots of space, nice bed and beautiful outdoors area.

The only thing is the location which wasn’t that big of a deal because the property makes up for it. It’s near the freeway but only a few minutes from downtown Santa Barbara by car. But once you’re on the property and in your room, you forget that you are by the freeway.

All of the rooms are suites and very equipped with great amenities: kettle, fridge, etc. The shower was amazing! The facility was great. We enjoyed the grounds, the hot tub and pool.

There are a few missing touches, probably just because the rooms are so new. For example, there’s no hand towel by the sink, so after you wash your hands you have to open the bathroom door to reach a towel. The shower didn’t have large bottles of product yet, so miniature bottles were balanced on the ledge. These things will be sorted out over time!

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and inviting, and the pool was well stocked with towels and very clean. We loved our stay and appreciated the friendly staff. Parking was very convenient and close to our room.

The room wasn't ready at 4pm; it was 1.5 hours late. My husband paid $9 for an espresso from an automatic machine at the bar and he said it was the most he's ever paid for a mediocre (and non-hand-crafted) coffee. $20 per night to self-park also seemed a bit steep. And the pull-out bed wasn't comfortable and we didn't have sheets to put on it. (Though it had some kind of mattress pad.)

Loved the grounds, the pool, the tents/cabanas that offered some privacy at the pool. Also appreciated the blackout curtains, the precise temperature control in the room and the comfy bed. And the staff was very responsive and quick to bring us things we asked for (i.e. a highchair for our son).
