The immediate area is a bit dodgy-looking with graffiti, empty lots, a boarded-up building, etc.

There's a kitchen that comes equipped with cookware, coffee, spices. Free parking behind the building. Parkville market is very close and worth checking out for some good food. Soundproofing is pretty decent; I couldn't hear other guests from my room (which has been a problem before at similar establishments).

The location is in very shady area and at night it’s scary. Also I didn’t like the idea of shared bathroom area with other guests as it was not clear with the pictures on website or information given. The AC was not cooling the room.

Host harrassed me about my check in time. I explained I had two Ubers cancel and that I was on my way. Host gave me 15 to get there. Then did not answer, when asked about a refund from booking they listened to the hosts lies about the check in issue. Good on him and booking platform I’ll directly deal with and pay extra with a hotel. Waste of $

Fraud. Be cautious! Once booking money charged. In the day of check in, property owner called me saying that there is no available room and cancellation is required and will be done in few hours. During all time confirmation was hanged in booking.com, but owner of hoter refused to accept me to check in. Finally, i didn't receive my money back

what i did not like was that when i arrived there were two policemen investigating something i could not understand and spanish speaking woman crying hysterically after which i was told that place was overbooked and i should look some other place to stay that night. they also promised to give my money back but so far the promise has not come true. i made a reclamation to booking.com for which this place told that i have not showed up. so they lied both to me and to booking.com.

I booked a room with booking.com .It said that the room was available on booking...got in contact with the number provided the guys said the place is fully booked out ...I then called customer service at booking again to inform them of the situation...said they got in contact with the property and a room was available. Everything is fine ..... I then contacted the property again for reassurance the guy said he is fully booked out an I should reach out to booking customer service again for a refund ...*ps* *he knows he has to give the confirmation so that booking can release the money* so I did as he said ... calling booking again the agent had me on hold for the longest while ..then got back in contact saying they contacted the place a room is ready for me ...I came from all the way new York got to the property ps*it was raining heavily that night* i was standing outside the property in the rain waiting to get attended to after several phone calls being made to the property....after 39 mins of waiting I finally got through the guy jus said he booked out and end the call....i called booking again to inform them of the situation and to get a refund because I was already vex for getting wet and and I had to go get a motel in the area .They went on stating that they are trying to get in touch with the property to release the money ...then after 25 minutes on hold the agent came bac saying they cant get in contact with the property but they left an email soon as they get confirmation from the property, they will release the money and the process normally takes 24hrs ...24hrs later noticing my money hasn't been released after receiving 4 emails From booking in regards to the situation... I called booking customer service 24hrs later ,they went on saying the property denied the request i should contact the property directly for my money ....I did as they said while i was on the call with them.

After waiting for 30 minutes during the window of time that I had to show up, no one answered the door bell, texts, calls and emails. The fraudster host then texted me some 1 hour later after waiting there for 30 minutes and having to leave for a motel texts from a different number, apologized and offered to offer a refund. It has been months and that refund is yet to arrive in my account. I am equally upset with booking.com as they have yet to consider my complaint despite offering the the evidence for calls, texts, photos I had to take from outside the hosts place and emails. They simply have accepted the lie from the fraudster host saying that I was offered while I never even got access to the place, let a lone getting service. I want my money back and would recommend for booking .com to kick the fraudster out of their system!

We arrived in the (very unsafe feeling) neighbourhood at 4:00 in the morning. Although we communicated this with the owner, WE had to ask again to supply us with the in-check routine. Key didn’t fit properly in the room, so we were busy for half an hour to get in. Room smelled very badly/moldy, bed- and bathroom weren’t clean and the bed was uncomfortable. I’d like to think of some positive things, but the truth is we left the place (cause it basically felt unsafe) after half an hour and slept somewhere on a parking lot in the car.

The price wasn’t that much, but you won’t get ANYTHING for it either.
