The A/C is centralized so you have to tell them if room is to warm or cold. They could have also offered free water at arrival, but other than that there is nothing!

Palihotel is like home away from home. It's so personal and unique. Location is perfect, restaurant superb and staff exceptional! The decor is so cute and bed is suuuuper comfy ;) I'll come back over and over.

The heating/cooling appeared to be controlled centrally which was a bit of a pain (as you have to send a request online each time you need the temp adjusted) and the lighting, while for the most part was pleasant, was slightly dim particularly when we were trying to pack or look for anything darker in colour.

The concept of the hotel is quite enjoyable and almost feels cozy, like an AirBNB or a friend’s place might. Our room was well appointed (albeit street facing) and the cafe restaurant downstairs was fab as far as convenience and options are concerned.

Air conditioner would turn on randomly in the middle of the night and it gets COLD. Had to talk to staff couple times before it got resolved. Staff was helpful though.

Location is great. The yogurt in their breakfast menu is fantastic. We’ve had it two days in a row.

The woman that worked the overnight shift was nasty. There was NO coffee in the hotel at all until the cafe opened at 8am. She was not helpful and had an attitude when asked where we can get coffee (I don't know was her answer).

Maria at the front desk was so helpful and sweet. The location of the property on Melrose was great - walk Melrose and The Grove. Nightlife around the area was an uber ride

There were very small things that would’ve made the stay perfect like having a thermostat or boiler in the room or a discount at the cafe.

The location on Melrose is great, the breakfast restaurant has some of the best breakfast we’ve ever had, the decor is really nice, bed is comfortable and shower pressure is perfect! Would love to go back!

The air conditioning/room temperature is controlled by staff, so you have to make requests if you want it changed. This was difficult for a pregnant lady with rapidly changing body temperature! But they provided a fan in the room that made everything a lot easier.

The location and the quality of the hotel were absolutely fabulous. There’s an adorable restaurant in the hotel (the best option in the area, in my opinion) and we were able to walk two minutes down the road to the Melrose Trading Post markets.

The hotel had no stock of drinks whilst we were there. The staff advised that they were waiting on a delivery. But it didn't arrive whilst we were there. The walls are very thin, you can hear neighbours and people in the street walking and talking as they go by. There was no cupboard or place to unpack or hang clothes.
