No elevator. We were ok with that, but did see some elderly struggle with it. Oh and parking was extra $46. We ended up leaving our car parked at hospital where it was $14 a night.

Very close to UCLA hospital and Target and all restaurants. Everything was walking distance.

Valet parking is a bit pricey and it's a little challenging getting your car. I just left it there and ubered. It's an old building which I love but with that comes with thin walls...

What a fabulous makeover! Loved it! I felt happy just walking into the lobby. Well appointed comfortable rooms. Wonderful shower. Well thought lighting. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby. Got my cappuccino there every morning! Location is perfect. Easy walk to campus and lots of restaurants. There's a beautiful outdoor seating area if you go out back and follow the path around the side of the building.

We found it to be a small, smart, friendly and clean hotel. Ideal location for us visiting our daughter at UCLA. Plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity.

Realize that it is expensive in general. However, with the rate of room, feel that parking should be included. This should be available especially since food, etc are limited in the lobby ( ie only coffee ,fruit) Staff is really kind.

This is an old hotel so you can hear noises from hallway and floor above. The valet parking is very poor. They tell you they will be back in 5 minutes with your car, but it takes more than 10 and there is only one person working. It took over 30 minutes to get our car in the morning. The front desk was mildly sympathetic. For almost $50 for parking the service was poor.

No breakfast, only a small seating area in reception and the rooms were close together, so you could hear when people were going out or coming back in.

It served its purpose and is a nice enough hotel. You park outside and the car is taken somewhere off site to park. It took ages to check in and our rooms weren't close together. We were told the room wasn't ready, so we were getting another one 'that was very nice', but then it turned our our original room was available. There is no elevator, so not suitable if you are disabled. We had the offer of bringing our cases up, but we said no. A bit of a mistake as marching up the stairs, with a heavy case and a face mask was a bit much. The rooms are clean, comfortable and warm. We had a room with a low window that overlooked other people's windows and a street, so kept the blind down, but it was very quiet. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. There was no bar or restaurant. There is a coffee machine in Reception and a small soft seating area, with one table. There was no breakfast available. We went to a basketball game and the Lakers stadium was only about 20 minutes drive away. As it was Christmas Day, we struggled to find anywhere that was open to eat. We found a little Chinese 5 minutes from the hotel called First Szechuan Wok. It looked nothing from outside, but had lovely staff and great food. Whilst here, we also ate at the California Pizza Kitchen and The Outback, both of which I would recommend.

Overall great hotel, loved the complimentary espresso in communal area. Garden was also very pleasant:) Staff were fantastic!
