Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesAlthough the bathroom looked renovated it had no water pressure and hot water was limited. We would have to wait 10+ minutes for the water to heat up but best it got was luke warm. The shower also had no shelving so we were forced to put our toiletries on the floor when showering. Beds were okay but there were random stains all over bedding. Stains also on furniture and curtains. Was no curtain over back window so room got extremely bright in the morning when the sun would rise. Our fire alarm was hidden beneath our pillows which was weird (reported to management but no one came to reinstall it so we had no fire alarm our entire stay). Management was also no where to be found once the afternoon passed. I had to ask a painter who was on site to find me toilet paper as there was no management to ask for it. Drywall/renovations were happening right outside of our door so we were woken up to loud constant banging starting right at 8am. From this, outside of our door and right at the steps was a hazardous mess. There was no hose to wash sand off before entering pool or room. Parking lot was really small, maybe 10 spots for the entire motel (I was afraid my car was going to get hit). The room was also advertised to have an oven and be soundproof but we found this to not be true. Wifi also did not reach our room and cable was not available on TV.
The room looked renovated and the bathroom looked beautiful. Great location for being close to the boardwalk. Air conditioning worked great. Nice little kitchenette. Room available to 21+ year olds.

United StatesThe parking situation was atrocious—there are too few spaces, common curtesy does not exist (my vehicle was scratched and dinged in the parking lot, the pool cleaner parked his truck taking up nearly three spaces and management did nothing to alleviate the situation)—and Wifi in the room was non-existent.
The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and ti was located close to the beach.

United StatesThe air conditioner, the lumpy bed in the poolside rooms. The wifi was weak. Ice machine was on the blink, and no TV service while we were there, other rooms had it but ours was out. They did call to get it fixed. They really tried. We made it work. We still had fun.
The Deluxe room was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice! Had a balcony with a decent view. The staff was very friendly and professional. Maria, Gloria and Joseph. Even the managers, at the front desk. Misha and her husband. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong Misha. They made us feel welcome. The Inn is within walking distance to everything...boardwalk, food, etc. We would go back, even with the hiccups.

United StatesParking. Is horrible!!! Air conditioner worked but was all broken up inside. Our key card didn't work so we had to go back down ( 3rd fl) which the girl gave us a regular key to use. It was decorated a lil old fashion and the couch seemed like it had been there since 1950. The pool looked nice but so many kids were in there we couldn't enjoy
The towels were folded nicely in the bathroom with soap and shampoo and conditioner. Was concerned about cleanliness after reading reviews but our room was clean. I like that it had a good size refrigerator in it with sink and stove and dinette set, if u wanted to save money on food.
