The breakfast offered was a bit sparse, and is offered on a first come first serve basis.

The rooms at this boutique hotel were very nicely done, and very clean. The location is great - easy walking distance to so many things including top sights like the Empire State Building. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it all came at a price that was better than other properties in the same area.

The size of the room was a surprise even though we were aware of the fact that it is small. There is no space for your luggage. We didn't really mind it though since the only time we spent in our room was sleeping. The air conditioning was very loud, ear plugs help a lot. We would have loved separate duvets, now we shared one.

The location was excellent. You can either walk pretty much everywhere or take the subway. Everything you need is easily reachable. We really liked the fact that there was no carpet but a plain floor in the room. That was one of the criteria choosing a hotel for our stay. There was drinking water available from the machine downstairs as well coffee and tea. Nice little breakfast also available every morning. Staff members were helpful and friendly. A very peaceful hotel. Both of us would love to stay here again, a very lovely stay at Pestana Park Avenue!

Only drawback to note was the small amount of storage space (especially places to hang things) for belongings in our room-- (and we travel pretty light).

Location's perfect. Facilities were well-maintained. Coffee/breakfast service is a huge plus. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

Minor things only: how loud the heating/cooling unit inside the room was. The mattress wasn't my favorite, but it was fine. They use a flat sheet on the bottom of the bed, which would come untucked every night so I woke partly on the mattress protector.

Lovely hotel in a good location. Very clean, room a good size for NY. Nice croissant breakfast/coffee machine/water dispenser etc. No street noise inside room, or noise from adjoining rooms. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful staff.

The rooms are small but perfect for a solo traveller. There is no cupboard.

Stylish, modern, quiet and comfortable. Lots of attention to detail and I like the theme. The staff are super friendly and happy to share info if you’re a tourist or shopper. Walking out of the hotel lobby - turn left and you’re at stylish Park Avenue with Grand Central station a hop and skip away. Turn right - 5th avenue and Madison Avenue with the shops around the corner. It’s just in the most perfect location. I like the thoughtful bagels and croissant breakfast and free access to coffees and teas and water etc. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The pressure from the shower head was unforgettable- I could’ve stayed under the shower all day. Sweet touch of lavender under your pillow to help you sleep. Plenty towels and high quality amenities.

My go-to hotel in Manhattan; perfect location--close to Grand Central, Bryant Park, shopping, groceries etc. Bathroom especially is up-to-date and clean.

Amazing staff, everyone was so hospitable: operations manager, front desk agents, housekeeping. Small hotel but very comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Free bagels and croissants in the morning. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter and I were impressed with all the small details in this place. From the warm welcome at check-in, to the self service expresso coffee machine available all day, the décor is beautiful, nice lavender sachets in our bed with a welcome note, discounted parking across the street, location and more!

The property was perfect, some people might think the rooms are a little small, but I think it was great. What more do you need but a bed and a bathroom. We spent our day sightseeing and came back to the hotel to sleep. The property is also located in an area that was so quiet that I slept like an angel and didn’t hear a thing. I can assure you, you cannot say that about most places in New York City. In the morning they had a wonderful coffee, machine and bagels and croissants. We will definitely be staying there again and telling everybody to do the same when they visit New York City. Gregory was the best.
