Nice location next to the road I travelled. The Odessa Diner offers an excellent breakfast.

Outside areas could use some improvements, parking was a bit tight but overall it was a decent place for a one night stay.

Bed was very comfortable, close to town with shops and restaurants, great diner next door. Chairs outside each room. Newly painted/remodeled buildings and rooms were nice.

Comfort of the bed was way too soft. Probably a too old mattress. It is on the cheap side even if there is evidence that they try to keep the rooms well maintain, but they can hardly get there.

There was an issue with the reservation and they managed to resolve it. It was also the cheapest motel in the area which make it an overall satisfying stay.

Small toilet seat. The water has a sulfur smell when you go to take a shower.

Nice bed with firm mattress and clean sheets. Modern TV with ample channels.

The hair dryer in the room did not work and the combination Air Conditioner/Heater unit fan was very loud. The owner said he had ordered the new dryer and it had not arrived, and he became aware of the noise of the heating unit just the day before and has ordered a new one. Minor discomfort only.

The room was obviously freshly redone; it was immaculately clean with a new refrigerator and microwave. Plenty of towels. Toiletries were available. Plenty of cups and complimentary bottled water in the room. A good internet connection and good television - even a gaming screen installed in the second bedroom. A comfortable easy chair and a table with chairs. A locally known diner right next door with connected parking lots and the motel rooms are set back from the highway.

Though not really a negative, but if looking for a motel as a vacation spot (with pool, entertainment, etc) this wouldn't necessarily be the go-to place.

Pleasant Hill Motel is a small, modest facility and to be truthful, I didn't expect much at all. We just needed an inexpensive place to sleep overnight. But to our surprise, the room was tastefully appointed, spotlessly clean, smelled fresh, (all too often these no-smoking rooms still reek of smoke; not so with Pleasant Hill), was inexpensive and is located next door to a diner with great coffee!

Not me, but my family got bumped and had to find another hotel because of a mis-communication between them and owners. It would not have happened if owners spoke better English.

The room was reasonably priced and bathroom had been updated. There was a diner within walking distance that had a great breakfast.

When we first arrived after I had been driving for multiple hours I went to step up into the room and I didnt make the step and fell forward on my knee. Instant pain and swelling. I rested for the night to see what would happen. Knee is still sore 3 days later but not serious thankfully. So now my caution to the owners.... the step going into the room i stayed in is VERY HIGH!!! At the least the owners should put a sign and caution tape to alert their patrons that the step is high.

Room was clean and smelled fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Room size is great and loved the walk in shower. Could use some new pillows and comforters for the bed.

The air conditioner would turn on and off at night and it was very loud.

Tap water smelled of sulfur (rotten eggs). Air conditioner/heater blew directly at ones face when in bed, and the controls were difficult. Ultimately, just unplugged it and did with a slightly chilly night.
