Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe staff is mostly away on the desk especially late at night. I checked in late and couldn't find a staff anywhere. I have to wait around and have to go find them. It would be nice to have a refrigerator and smart TV.
Location is convenient to restaurants and market. The room is spacious.

United StatesBreakfast. We are late risers and the 6 to 9 breakfast is just a little too early for us when traveling. Wish it could have lasted till 10 so we could sleep in. The outlets in the lamps are loose and need fixed.
Great breakfast. Nice pool area. Comfy rooms. The booking was not done right online so there was a mix up at check in. The ladies at the front desk did everything they could to make sure our stay was good. No issues. Not their fault.

United StatesThe only complaint we really have was the pool area. There chlorine levels were so high that it was unbearable to sit in that area without your eyes burning.
Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Especially Mya she answered all of our questions and concerns! We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.
