Mixed bag. 3 moderate snorers. Woman across from me Going Great Guns. I picture her relatives laughing, sticking the hostel with her snoring. Coming from Papua New Guinea I was on airplanes for 3 days (all the arrival date). Hostel refused to refund $250. Partial refund was 75 cents. Plus I had to pay for 2 nights. Do everything online! Nothing you say or they say goes on record. Everything costs less online.

Holiday weekend. There was no breakfast but staff surprised us with vegetables and bananas one night. Grassy yard, clean.

Nothing I didn't like. Worth being aware that it is an inexpensive space in LA. But it felt safe and was a comfortable space with people who seemed into the idea.

The location can't be beat, especially at the price. Easy check in and seemed like an intentional space and honestly something we need more of. I'll be back.

There was absolutely no privacy. Even a sheet hanging from the top to the bottom bunk was not allowed. They warn the guests of this policy before we sign up, but I didn't read about it.

The vibe was good. I liked the ping pong table. The location was excellent. The staff gave us good recommendations as to where we shoiuld go to eat.

There is only 3 showers/toilets for the entire hostel. Some of the people staying there are staying there long-term/living there and treat the place like their home. There is no curtains on beds, we were told we couldn’t hang towels up for privacy as they had issues before (whatever this means)… They have small lockers available for passports, laptops etc but nothing for luggage, noticed some items are now missing since our stay here.

The location of the hostel is great! Within walking distance to the beach and about 100m from Abbot Kinney road where there is lots of cool coffee shops and bars. The outdoor area of the hostel is also really nice. The staff are really nice :)

Got stolen right away! My ingredients, coffee, alcohol, etc. were eaten and drunk without permission. The guests are the criminals.

Compared to other hostels, there are pods and capsules, so there is plenty of personal space and comfort. There is nothing around except the beach.

Unfortunately the place is a mess. There is guest living there long term and they act like they are in their houses, the bed in front of mine was full of personal stuff like tv, garbage bags with clothes and paper bags, very weird. The locker area is so messy, there is clothes, bags and cleaning supplies everywhere. also, the bed sheets where old and with some wholes on it.

is very well located, couples minutes walking from Venice boardwalk. There is a parking at the hostel and is free. The stuff is very nice and friendly.

the door near our pod didnt shut so it was freezing over night. also, very weird sheets/blanket situation so we had topile our clothes on us to stay warm!

Got bit by insect at night on my hand and above eyebrow. . Bathrooms are small and hard for women especially. Even by hostel standards. The fridge space is quite tight for all the residents combined.

The staff is friendly. The somewhat open floor plan is cool. Bed was comfortable. And even though the car parking was quite full, could pull in my car for the night. The ambiance is cool. Especially the lawn out front and the inside decor.

Way too Difficult to find in rain and dark, even having stayed here once before. Google maps switched which Venice St, Way, Blvd, N and S did not label Washington, probably would be confusing to people who needed much bigger Washington Blvd. Alpha gets to sleep, snoring beyond what earplugs could block, showing off his nipples, almost under a pile of blankets. In the morning I requested and was given a blanket by Yazz and a bed away from the cacaphony.. Thank you!. Another Alpha just bought a building he always wanted, was here to oversee some repairs that had started, but mostly I wished I had been able to sleep.

Location is good once you find it. Walked to bank and United States of Espresso. No bfast. Water with lemons, a basket of small apples.
