Part of the reason I chose this location was it had a pool, I looked forward to some pool time, but the pool wasn't open.

I liked that we were on the 1st floor. It was convenient and easy to get in our room from our vehicle

Couldn't hear or understand clerk. No coffee pots or coffee in lobby which was shut up. Loud drunk neighbors. I didn't feel safe there. No washcloths in room. Soap from previous stays in shower and not cleaned.

Room reservation price wasn't what I had to pay. Overall, for the area, the room was overpriced and there were no coffee pots in rooms. We didn't have washcloths in room I had to hunt some down. The main lobby wasn't open but being used as a storage room and had to talk through a window and I couldn't hear/understand the clerk. Overall a nice place to lay my head, but loud drunk neighbors made it hard to sleep and seeing a prostitute walking back and forth didn't help matters. Albany, Ga. In general has gone down hill and I thought the location was nice compared to other hotels, but I guess not.

The room was not clean or well-kept, but I checked in late with my daughter and small dog after a long day of work and travel. The first room's electric door seemed to need batteries. The owner/manager gentleman used his master key card to let us into the room next door which didn't seem prepared for guests. The bathroom tub was peeling badly and the bathroom didn't feel clean. There was dirt and visible dust on the floor that no one bothered to even sweep. The shower curtain/liner was disgusting and moldy. I put down a towel in the tub for use during showers and did not use the curtain/liner at all so that it wouldn't touch us. Housekeeping staff on the following day obviously only made the beds and swapped towels. It didn't appear the tub was cleaned and the floor still hadn't been touched but I had also been out all day with family. Besides cleanliness, the beds were creaky and noisy every time we moved. This was not a comfortable or enjoyable stay by any stretch. I expected more because I'm familiar with the city and the particular area where the facility is located, but they could've stayed wherever they moved from. The quality clearly did. Will not stay here again. Even with a cheaper rate, basic cleanliness, like sweeping and ensuring a shower curtain/liner is not moldy and disgusting, is not too much to ask or expect. Motel 6 failed on several fronts for me.

I felt able to adequately secure the room with the door locks available.

Stayed at a motel 6 in Lafayette Louisiana didn't want to stay here b/c of past experience but it was $150 cheaper than surrounding hotels. But glad I stayed here very clean rooms

First room had no latch lock. Second room had old food in the fridge. The other guests were also a bit odd. Seemed to be a lot of long term guests who hung out most of the day in front of their room. It seemed like an imposition to ask to get by. Within 10 minutes of arriving, the owner started yelling that he was going to call the cops on someone if he didn't get off the property.

Room was spacious and comfortable for a Motel 6. As long as you stayed in the room, it was fine.
