Had to watch our heads on the angled ceilings, as expected in any finished attic. Bathroom was lovely, and a bit cramped. My husband had to duck to get his head under the shower and to keep from bumping his head. Still and all, it was lovely for a few nights. Didn't realize the third floor climb when we booked, which was a bit of a chore as we were moving into town and had more than the usual travelers baggage to bring in and out. But that's on us, not on them. We would have done it even if we had known.

It was charming, clean, comfortable, and a great location. We had to scramble to get an extra night someplace when our movers were delayed and the hosts tried their best to help us. Ultimately we found another accommodation, but these hosts were gracious and tried their best. We didn't realize it had a kitchen available in the house well as full set of dishes in our particular room. This really helped us save some money while we waited for our movers to come into town.

Third floor suite was difficult for me to access with all of my military gear, it was exhausting lugging all of my personal and military belongings up and down the multiple flights of stairs to the third floor.

I did not receive any breakfast, I did not know there was a breakfast included. The coffee and extra blanket was a nice touch.

Minor point - if I were staying for more than 1 night, a larger, more comfortable chair in the corner to sit and read would make the room more pleasant.

Cool old house from 1800's. Wild(e) Room on third floor is quite large. As expected in a house of this age the bathroom is cramped, but clean and functional. Small kitchen nook in room has a sink, microwave, pod coffee maker and a bar fridge. There is a shared kitchen between the two third floor rooms as well that i didn't use. Walking distance to reeders alley, last chance gulch.

The weather was hot, and the room was on the 3rd floor. It would be a perfectly cozy room in colder weather!!

The property was exactly as I expected. There was not anything I did not like.

Staying in a property on the historical register was a treat. Walking to the Last Chance Gulch walking mall with shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment was very doable. The host was pleasant and accommodating.

When you search Pope House Mansion in Google, the Governor’s Mansion comes up unless you specify “Historic House” so it starts off by sending visitors to the wrong place. Took three tries to get the right place.

Absolutely wonderful! Spacious rooms, immaculately clean, beds are very comfortable. Teas and coffee selection is great. The hostess is so nice and helpful. And on top of it this place is affordable. I definitely recommend to everyone.

Suite bathroom a bit small - but we also expected this for an historic house.

Easy to find, self-service door codes were a big help as we arrived late into Helena. Surprisingly comfortable suite, TV and in room air conditioning were excellent touches. Very fast and reliable WiFi. Lots of space in the room to unpack. Would choose this again if passing through town again.

Walls are a little thin. You need to be able to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs Tall people may not want the Wilde suite. It’s a head-banger.

As this is a historic home it has lots of character, but also comes with some quirks. The room is on the third floor which was fine for us, but for those with mobility issues it would be a challenge. Also, the air conditioning was very loud. The bathroom is pretty cramped, but as noted, with a historic home they are working with the original footprint of the house.

The location is great to walk to downtown. The host was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. The place was very clean.
