How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bed was too close to the bathroom door so we couldn’t open and close the door without forcing it past the mattress.
The location was safe and close to the places I needed to go. The cleaning staff did a great job and Spencer was great for check in.

Good enough breakfast with hot eggs and cereals/yogurt/fruit. The location was quiet but easy to reach.

The room is a little bright with the blinds down, but nothing too bothering if you’re tired from festivities you attend during the day. The wall within the outside was quite thin and the first night you could hear people passing by early in the morning, but it wasn’t a problem again after that.
It was clean and had easy check in and out! The breakfast was amazing and filling with choices including yogurt, bagels, danishes, eggs, sausage patties, waffles with fixings, cereal, many types of juice, and a special side that’s different each day!

My husband had a hard time checking in because I wasn't there yet. Staff just doing their job, but it was frustrating being several hours away due to traffic and having to pull over to call the hotel myself when I was already on video with my husband who was standing in the lobby. Nowhere to park with a trailer when we finally arrived.
Location to family that we're visiting. Rooms and common spaces were clean.

My stay was from Saturday the 23rd to December 25th of the year 23
Unfortunately, some thief was able to open my truck, stealing my Christmas gifts, the hotel parking lot apparently looks safe since there is little traffic in the area, it wasn't like that, one more thing. the yogurt served for breakfast was already expired,

The ac unit in our room was not blowing cold and would make a vibration sound when on.
Facility was clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, everyone we spoke with was accommodating.

Bathrooms were not very clean. There were a few bugs and not sure if the floor or tub had been cleaned recently.
Big parking lot. Nice staff. Worth it just to spend the night. Didn’t get the chance to check out the other facilities but breakfast was nice.

Most of the maintenance and housekeeping staff spoke little to no English so it was difficult to communicate our needs. Definitely a great value for a large family, but the property was outdated. Lots of difficulties with our room. Key cards worked only half the time, door knob mechanism was coming off on one of our rooms and it took a few days before they understood our request to fix it. Our sink stopped draining - which they fixed in a very timely manner, but the sink also leaked from the back when using a certain temperature. Laundry on site is awesome, but it's $8 to wash and dry one load!
Hot breakfast buffet and pool was a great value for our family. Most of the main reception desk staff was very kind and helpful. Staff was very nice and tried to be very accommodating and helpful.

location was very convenient. I checked in a little later around 8:30 pm almost and was greeted by such a friendly face! I forgot the name of the male receptionist, young and Hispanic very pleasant 10/10. the check in went so smoothly & following other needs I inquired for my stay. excellent customer service! Will stay again.

location is odd, some floors smell.soda machine did not have cold sodas so it was expensive and warm and flat!!
