Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RussiaEven though the breakfast was advertised as "hot", only waffles and toasted bagels were hot. The rests was typical: cereals, butter, juice, yogurts. No truly hot dishes such as fried eggs, potato or bacon.
This hotel is much better than an average hotel of any national chains of "on-the-road hotels". Recently renovated, however some parts if interior date back "good old days" (e.g. chairs). Pleasant smell inside, well-kept, clean (probably because you will see more staff unlike in most motels where one person is responsible for almost everything). Comfortable mattresses with new sheets.

United StatesTheir taste in decor is much different than mine. A little tacky but atleast you can see they are making renovations because the hallways have been painted lilac/purple&the doors are still rust color. The HVAC system is LOUD but functional so I imagine they will replace those when feasible(I got the room cold, then turned off the system) The coffee machine was only providing decaf and it had little flavor. Because I used Booking I was told I could not accrue points for my stay.
The Shuttle service is very efficient, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything else is aesthetics and $50 would have been the right price because with taxes it came to over $70

United StatesWhen I arrived at the hotel someone warned me not to go out and try and find a place to eat at night, as it was not safe. They suggested that I order food to be delivered to the hotel. The hotel had a lot of menus from different nearby restaurants but I didn't want a big meal, so I ended up getting my dinner from the vending machine in the hotel: cup o noodles, cheese, crackers, and Doritos.
For a two star hotel, I was pleased with the large room, the microwave and mini fridge. The room was not noisy and the staff friendly and informative.
