The fire pit area should have been accessible. We were a large group and would have enjoyed sitting outside but weren't able to.

Our family was attending a wedding locally, and we were all able to get rooms, most of which were near each other.

Hallway was very noisy on Saturday night (midnight to 5am) into Sunday morning. Tough to sleep. Pillows weren't supportive

Housekeeping skipped our room one day for no apparent reason. Front desk gave us towels and trash bags to tidy up ( at our request).

Nice rooms, great outdoor pool, clean ( but housekeeping did skip us one day ), friendly staff, great location for shopping, entertainment and food, breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably priced.

As with most hotels, the walls are quite thin. This was challenging in the early hours of the morning as the guests next door were entering their room after enjoying a wedding followed by time at the hotel’s bar. They were equally loud and unfiltered when leaving their room, with the help of friends, at approximately 7am.

The Freehold Radisson is centrally located on Rte 537/W.Main St., right near beautiful Downtown Freehold, access to Rt. 9, the Hospital, Parking for the Raceway Grandstand, and the Maplewood Cemeteries. There is also access to many shopping centers including the Freehold Raceway Mall, Walmart & Sam’s Club & Mill Center, anchored by Stop & Shop, all less than a mile away. There are many food&drink options as well, from the restaurant and car within the hotel (which also boasts catering and 2 ballrooms, each of which hosted gorgeous weddings while we were there), to nearby fast food, fast casual, and sit down dining options. The area also boasts unique locally owned restaurants from the amazing “bagelnook” to downtown’s Ramen House, to the perennial favorite Dusal’s, which has been operating (perhaps under more than 1 owner), for over 40 years. The hotel room was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The front desk staff was kind and helpful professional. Because we were in town for a funeral, they were kind enough to extend out check out time by 90 minutes, which was ideal! Overall, I would stay at this place again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Bathroom door inoperable and in a challanging location. It blocked the toilet and shower.

I had 3 of us staying in a 2 queen bed room, but only 2 towels were supplied. We called 4 times for more towels and each time was told someone would be right up. Nobody ever came. Hotel Website says Microwaves are in room, our room did not have a microwave and this was a very important detail for my family as some of us cannot consume most food from a typical restaurant. Again, we called and was told that a microwave needs to be requested and that they’d be able to bring one. We did call 3 times for a microwave before getting one. The Bar was VERY scarcely stocked. There were no towels stocked in the pool area. And I didn’t see any restrooms for use anywhere remotely close to the pool. We stay in 4-5 star hotels regularly and while this hotel and staff were nice, I believe a 3 star would be more accurate at the time being. But definitely has potential to be 4 star.

The only thing is first week I booked for this property it let me book on line what I wanted n the rates were great for week day second week I tried booking on line n would of got a better deal it kept booting me off properly wasn’t busy as it was being of week should of gotten a cheaper rate

The pool it was nice had a good time staff was very friendly n helpful we had to do late check out they had no problem.We stayed a couple days the week before too n it was nice also

Air conditioning was very noisy even though I came prepared with ear plugs. Bed was nicely done with white linens, but a bit too hard for a comfortable sleep

AC/heating unit was either too cold or too hot. I put it at 68 degrees and it was fine for 30 minutes but then it got too cold. I turned it up to 70 and that stopped the AC but the room warmed up. I couldn’t find a comfortable in-between. And it was really noisy when running. But I’m real sensitive to both temperature and noise, so it might have just been me.

Guests down the hall were noisy and smoking. Loud fight outside late at night. I did hear staff ask these guests to quiet down twice. The breakfast buffet was not worth the price. Milk was spoiled and many items were not cooked completely.

The beds were very comfortable, though the rooms were a bit outdated. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of making the beds, emptying trash, and restocking everyday. My kids enjoyed the pool.

Door to the room didn't lock. They had to come fix it. The curtain in the room fell on my child. No tub it was a shower, no microwave in the room. Should have a bench for smokers to sit outside by the smoking area. No good kids channel on tv.

I had 2 king beds booked through booking.com and they told me there was only 1 available, the other a queen. Only after I showed them my phone with the confirmation did they locate another king room.

The restaurant was supposed to be open for breakfast at 7am Wednesday. When asked about why it wasn’t open, “it will open when the chef gets here.” The Wednesday early morning clerk was not the best for the position. Might be best to just keep it closed and provide a list of alternative locations in the area until you can take the restaurant seriously again. The room wasn’t cleaned until almost 4:30pm, but was clean and the staff was nice.

The room was big. My husband has mobility issues and was able to maneuver well in the room and bathroom. We ate at the on-site restaurant, and we were pleased. The turkey club wrap was good and just the right portion. I would stay here again.
