A bit of maintenance needed - my husband fixed bathroom door that wouldn't close with a butter knife adjustment and there was an outlet in bathroom that didn't work.

Cabin was cozy and felt and smelled clean. The view was beautiful and location was close to shopping/restaurants.

The only thing I disliked was that there was not a TV in the bedroom, but that is just because I need a little background noise to fall asleep.

The short answer is everything! I was so pleased with it that I booked it for a week in May this time I will be bringing our grown kids and grandchildren. We absolutely love it and we can't wait to visit in summer.

The loft area with the 3 beds was hot and a little uncomfortable for the boys to sleep. The portable air conditioner that was provided is old and didn't really work very well. They were fine and didn't complain.

The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and my dog. It spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped and beds comfortable. We loved being so close to the lake with plenty of picnic tables and BBQ grills and have access to boat and water bike rentals. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cabin was great but interior showing its age but the place was great and the people running it (Stuart & Chuck) were fantastic! Some things needing replacing (bedding, drapes, sofa) but we would definitely stay there again!

The location was ideal. We went for fishing and the lake and that what we got. Staff was terrific, rooms were comfortable. And the facility was fun! Fishing, lake, volleyball, horse shoes and grilling. We had a great time!

I CAN TELL YOU ONLY WHAT I WOULD DO. KEEPING IN MIND THE CABINS ARE OLDER. THE CURTAINS NEED TO BE WASHED OR REPLACED. THERE NEEDS TO BE CAULKING, SOME PAINTING AND SOME WOODWORK REPAIR. THE BATHROOM WALLS NEED TO BE WIPED DOWN AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR.

THE BEST FOR US WAS THE CABIN WAS LOCATED ON THE LAKE. THE VIEW WAS PERFECT. GREAT THOUGHT WAS GIVEN TO THE AMMENITIES THAT WERE AVAILABLE FOR A FISHING AND BOATING RESORT. I LOVE THE RUSTIC FEEL OF THE OLD MOTEL ATMOSPHERE. THE STUDIO WE USED WAS THE PERFECT SIZE. FOR MYSELF I GIVE THIS RESORT A 4 STAR OUT OF 5 REVIEW.

The location was great, right on Rainbow Lake with the option to rent out boats. The resort is centrally located close to restaurants and other lakes.

No cleaning supplies to “clean” up afterwards unless we had to ask. Instructions said to but didn’t clarify. We did improvise using materials to sweep and clean what previous folks that may have missed but we didn’t mind. And the rock to “lock” the door. But despite that, still love love the place!

Perfect little stay and loved that we had the kitchen in our room at the Ponderosa suite. We could’ve gotten next door if we had known but now we do! Loved the fire pits, v-ball nets, horseshoe, and access to rental boats, fishing rods and the access to the lake. would stay here again!

The only negative was the wind (we didn't know that late May is always windy on the lake), which is why we decided against a boat rental. Also, the shower was very small, & must have been on the same water line as the other cabins, resulting in being drenched with FREEZING water when someone in another cabin ran the hot water. Otherwise, great!!!

We stayed at Rainbows End a week. The location is amazing! Our room was 15' from the lake: fabulous views, quiet, & comfortable. The fishing was wonderful - my husband caught 4 nice catfish from the dock the first day! The cabin had everything we needed. Quaint & rustic. The owner, Chuck, was extremely helpful & available. Great value too!

The cabin we stayed in had a very bad sewer smell so it was difficult to enjoy. The cabin could have been cleaner, especially the kitchen.

The staff were awesome and very accommodating! The lake is close and rhe price was great!

only downside is the oven was broken and it was Christmas Day we found out trying to bake a ham.

we stayed in the Ponderosa and it’s perfect for a family. our kids love the tether ball and volleyball and the fire pits for night were great. the lake view every morning was breathtaking.

We were the only ones there at this time, so no staff except once night before we left, was self check in. Phone call not answered back, had a fast leak in bathroom. Dirty dishes put back in the cabinets, but they charge you 30$/ day to clean?
