How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location to the Rockies was excellent. The place was beautiful and the ground were clean. Responsiveness of staff was good when we needed more towels/supplies/etc. Loved the fireplace. Thought it was tastefully decorated. The wonderful hot water from all faucets/shower on cold winter days were appreciated! :)

The house was clean, there was plenty of space, and it was located close to anything we wanted to do in and around Estes Park. The staff were so friendly and welcoming!

The location is incredible the staff was friendly and very helpful and understanding. The view is absolutely unreal and the property well maintained and quiet.

While the kitchen was well stocked with dishware, pots and pans etc. One complimentary coffee per stay was rather disappointing. We only spent two nights for a wedding so there were no plans to buy grociers or supplies. We assumed after we used the first pot of coffee that we could go to office and get an additional packet. We were charged for it and was rather surprised...and somewhat disappointed. We then read the little note in the kitchen and it stated that it was "just to get us started". I think for the price, extra coffee is not asking too much. Other then that it is a great place
Cabin was better than expected. Very well maintained and very clean. Family used hot tub and gym facitites.

The accomodations was incredible. We booked this on the day when we decided to stay in the area another night but our current place didn't have availability. The cabin was clean, tidy and had everything we could need. It was so beautifully decorated and cozy. I just wanted to sit on the couch all night watching the fire. My partner had to work for a couple hours and the desk nook was perfect. The person at reception was fantastic in giving us recommendations of kid friendly snow walks in the Rockies. They even gave us special Bear and Sprague Lake achievement patches to give to our kid for doing the walks!! We wished we could have stayed longer. We can't praise the Rams Horn Village more highly. Thank you!

The all you can eat waffle breakfast was lovely and a great value. The ladies were so friendly and helpful. the whole place was great. I would recommend it to my friends and will definitely stay there again!

Our unit needs a couple new cutting boards and knives. The ones provided were dull or very small.
Property was clean, extremely comfortable, cute, and useful. Great, clean hot tub. Great location. Great price. We immediately wished our stay was longer.

Extremely close to RMNP, very clean and welcoming cabins, friendly staff. We were very pleased with our accommodations…one of the favorite places that we stayed in CO.

There was to much chlorine in the hot tubs. Beds were a bit on the hard side.
Location was outside the Rocky National Park, The master bedroom upstairs was large and comfy with the balcony and large bathroom. The rec room offered lots to do for the kids and family. The hot tub was nice but to much chlorine!

loved having our own little cabin, and with little ones we loved having the playground. 5 minutes from RMNP entrance which was perfect. very accommodating front desk

Only problem was that the hot tub was actually too hot to get into! Minor problem. We could have asked for help but we didn’t.
Clean, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Free laundry.
