Tv remote didn’t work half the time. They charge guests $7 for a plain continental breakfast and the staff didn’t explain that at check in

The facility is old and it seems like building management doesn’t seem to care enough to fix even a slit in a window screen (that spans across the entire window). When I told housekeeping during their check in, I was told “yeah, the building is old, there’s a lot of things wrong here” which didn’t inspire confidence. The room was also incredibly hot throughout the stay.

All staff is very kind and helpful, the beds are comfortable, and you can reach anything in Boise in less than 10 minutes.

Dissappointed that the entry to the hotel was not maintained. First impressions are that if the rooms looked like the entry, I would not have wanted to stay there.

Drapes and chair need cleaning desperately. Needs updating, there was no bed skirt, furniture should be touched up with stain, shower/tub area should be replaced, very and drywall coming down in shower.

Maids did a good job, decent sized room, comfortable.

Very old furnishings and very poorly cleaned. The bath tub was full of hairs and especially the area falling behind the open bathroom door was incredibly dirty.

needs more lighting in lobby, DRAB , dreary. Hallways were very dirty, it wouldn't be hard to have housekeepers vaccum the hallways in front of the rooms they are cleaning. 1st impressions are everything. The room doors are very scuffed up, touching them up with a product that hides the scratches, dings etc. would help. Also the screws are coming out of the security lock on the door. Overall I didn't expect much for $74 a night. Restaurant was never open while I was there, maybe its closed for good.

The restaurant was permanently closed. Only few of the ice machines worked, had to search for the working ones, and there wasn't one on every floor. The key cards inconsistently worked, even after getting new key cards it work once or twice then stop working.

I was grateful to learn that the hotel DID have a gym on site even though there was no indication of it on the website.

The help at the front desk, very rude person. When we checked out the next day a different person was behind the desk and she was very pleasant. We told her what happed on check in and she appologized over and over to us. She had said that we weren't the only ones complaining ad explained that they are trying to change things and upgrade the hotel as well. I hope this does happen as it is in a great location for us to stay.

When we first arrived, we got there about 15 minutes until 3:00. I asked if we could check in early and was told no by the gal at the desk. She was very rude about it also, there were about 5 other people waiting in the lobby to check in. We came in at 5 till 3 and stood in a very long line, there was only one person at the desk and like I said she was very rude. We stood in line for at least 20 minutes trying to get checked in and there were at least 10 people behind us waiting as well. She was very unprofessional and in my opinion very slow, when you have that many people waiting to check in she should have called someone to help her. Also I had to give a credit card for inncedintals and was charged $50, which still has not been refunded to my card. I called on Tuesday to ask about it and I believe it was the same person that checked us in. She was rude on the phone and put me on hold, if the phone was ringing she should have finished business with me and then answered the call. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and will not stay there again unless things change. We go to a lot of concerts and stay in hotels when we do so we are not drinking and driving, we were not rude but were treated that way. I understand the charge for the inncedintals but normally when we have had this happen it is reversed as we check out.

Desk had no chair. In other stays for this size room, there was always a lounge chair...not here. I we left with only using the bed to sit on.

No A/C in the room. It was 80 degrees outside and the fan we could turn on in the room was blowing heat. We opened the window, but... it was 80 degrees outside. Also, there is no vent in the bathroom, and the tub and toilet both drain very slowly.

The bed is very comfortable, and it is close enough to downtown to walk. We have stayed here in the past and probably will again because it is affordable.

I got a room on the first floor next to the service rooms, my tv did not have a remote and the neighbors were really loud.

The staff was great, the location was easy to access and the price was reasonable. I would stay again in a different area of the hotel.
