Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

First time I have stayed at a Red Roof, and I certainly will stay at a Red Roof again! The room was spotless, one of the most clean hotel rooms I have stayed in, including the high price hotels. The only flaw I saw was in the room, the chair was a little worn and could be replaced. Other than that it was a very nice, CLEAN place to stay!!

United StatesThe pillows! Lol I’m not typical a picky person, but the pillows were the worst I’ve ever laid my head on. This would have been corrected if I would have asked for different pillows. but I didn’t so I can’t really complain.
The property and room was very nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Very secure and safe place to stay. We will definitely be back.

TunisiaSpa tub in room was, ehhh. It worked properly, but you could tell they didn’t clean the jets thoroughly 😒. Shower head in the bathroom spew water everywhere except in a single direction. Photos show that it was recently renovated & it was, but the craftsmanship was mediocre.
Good price for the stay. Quick check in & the front desk staff was friendly. Each room has a mini fridge & microwave. Good black out curtains! Beds did have multiple covers & sheets were clean! Like the title says, it’s not the best, but definitely not the worst. Very budget friendly in the area, especially for a few nights or less.

United StatesThe showerhead had a crack on it and a hole around the around the pipe. There's no toilet seat cover on the toilet and it was a small crack on the floor tile beside the hot tub. The toilet couldn't flush unless you hold down the handle. NEED TO WORK ON THESE THINGS.

The cleaning staff was friendly. I have a 2 year old whom I let sleep until he wakes up by himself. And the staff was kind enough to clean our room after the other rooms to give us time to get him ready to leave in the mornings.
