Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was decent for cost. We saw two insects, no hair dryer, iron & ironing board, stain bed linen, dirty coffee pot, low in both hand soap & shower dispenser. The room phone didn't work nor did the front desk answer the 3xs I called, but receptiontist stated phone never rang.
The receptionist was kind, he got an iron & ironing board for me.

United StatesI paid for two nights, but I only stayed for less than a full day. The young lady at the counter said that I would be reimbursed for the second day, but that reimbursement--as far as I can determine--has never been credited back to my account.
I didn't stay for breakfast, so I have no feedback on that aspect of the stay. I had booked two nights because of the approaching hurricane, but only stayed one night because we lost power early the next morning at the motel, and I received a call informing me that my house had not been affected by the storm.

United StatesAlthough the property was generally clean and well maintained, it seemed a little worn at the edges; for example, the vanity sink in my room lacked a stopper. Overall, the property could benefit from freshening/upgrading the fixtures, finishes, and furnishings. Lighting was adequate, but a bedside lamp would be helpful. I would also suggest adding a bedside alarm clock/radio. Service was friendly and prompt, but housekeeping had failed to replenish bath towels before my arrival. Nevertheless, for budget accommodations, this property met my expectations and I had a pleasant stay.

United Statesno microwave or fridge no explanation on vending or ice. my room had all handicap parking in front of it had to park away from my room and the room next to me had different cars in and out thru the night that kept waking me up from car doors slamming shut , a/c turned on and off all night making it hard to get any good sleep.didn’t feel secure when leaving as the parking area not lit very well. I definitely won’t stay at this location again!
