Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesRooms are small and the carpet is little outdated in the room we stayed. Changing new carpets will make this rustic place even better.
Nice rustic place to stay in the center of the city and close to restaurants, brewery and grocery stores. Its only 5 miles from Arches National Park and other outdoor activities in Moab. The room we stayed was okay and the bed was comfortable.

United StatesA little more room and would be nice. I suggest that they change their by request to that model. The place was a little far from the rest of town, quarter mile or so till you get to the bulk of the stores. The hot tub was out of order and the pool was across the street.
The room was clean and tidy when we arrived. It was a little tight, but it had a small kitchenette (microwave, sink, fridge) with a small table and two chairs. It had a dresser and a place to hang clothes. The bed and sheets were comfortable and the AC worked great though it was a bit loud. The maid service was by request which I am sure saved money so we asked them to do it every other day and it was well done. It was right next to the grocery store and gas station so that was convenient. We spent almost all our time at Arches or Canyonlands so the dislikes below were mostly moot.

United KingdomRoom had no view - bush. Hot tub was shut we could have used the pool across the road but were unsure how that worked as it looked like it was part of another hotel. It was about 1 mile from main shops and town centre.
Traditional wood clad rooms. If you were well planned it had BBQ facilities that anyone could use - great touch. Coffee and water in reception, great tips on where to eat at night. 5 min walk from Moab brewery which was excellent.

United StatesThis was such a fun place to stay in Moab. It felt like a little cabin away from home. It was a small room, however it was perfect for a couple nights. It was clean, everything worked well, and the staff was very kind and resourceful!

United StatesLack of table/desk and chair: dust accumulated behind furniture.
Unbeatable value for location and amenities, so I stayed 4 nights. Yes, it's rustic and that's part of the charm. It could use some vacuuming behind the night stands but overall bathroom was clean with a great shower and plush white towels. Some of the most comfortable beds than even high-end hotel chains, with crisp, clean linens. Other than not having a desk and chair to eat at, I had my portable chair in the trunk to solve that and they have a shaded picnic area outside. The kitchenette was perfect for my needs. I brought most of my food and had a microwave and nice sized fridge for storage. Perfect for sleeping in and then spending the days outdoors. That's why you're in Moab, isn't it? I walked to the town shops within blocks, but if you have the patience to wait for the free MAT shuttle, Moab's thought of everything to make this a great outdoor destination without turning into Park City or Sedona.

Close to Arches and Canyonlands. Perfect for walking downtown Moab as well. Room itself was nice and clean. The area with the fridge and microwave had its own sink which was a plus. Room stayed cool even with the AC off (it was 90 outside). Staff was friendly and check in/out was simple. We would definitely stay here again.
