Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI didn't even end up lasting lasting to stay the night. The room had a terrible scent of cigarettes and mold that gave me a terrible headache for days afterwards af/er spending only a few minutes in the room. After requesting a refund the owner ended up sending me on my way with no return of my money.

United StatesWhen we arrived, attendant couldn't find the reservations. Nothing was computerized and he didn't seem very happy about us staying there. After spending about 10 minutes looking for our reservations, I gave up and left. Wound up staying somewhere else where they were much more helpful.

Staff is very friendly. He took us outside and showed us where our room was, where to park, and then gave us 2 ice cold bottles of water. It was 94 degrees outside.

The room was very clean. The water pressure in the shower was really great. I really enjoyed the Paul Mitchel shower products made available. There was a full size microwave. It was nice to have 5 pillows on the bed.. The cleaning crew was there every day to service the rooms. The manager and his daughter were so warm and friendly and it was so nice to speak with them.
