Hotel is close to transit station and it's convenient to visit downtown Boston. The fitness center is excellent and fresh fruits and water are provided every day.

We were confused by the parking situation. Called to ask and you get a call service not even the front desk of the property. We drove around looking for parking in busy Boston. Finally just went to valet who weren't very friendly and was told valet was included In our stay. Now I have a bill for valet ?

Staff, room, view, breakfast

My stay was unplanned. I got bumped from my flight to Paris very late at night. While my team was obligated to go on, I was left alone to navigate the overnight accommodation while very fatigued. I booked hastily on Booking.com and got to the hotel in about an hour. This caused a bit of a problem for the hotel staff as they had not yet received payment. I just wanted to commend the nighttime manager and staff (2 gentlemen) on 6-30-23, who were exceptionally kind and accommodating. They waived some fees ( I was too tired to process exactly what ,at the time, waived breakfast fee, they even told me to pick out a snack at the snack bar.!! Just very kind human touches that I appreciated. They also allowed me to have a late check out since next flight was going to be later. Just such a blessing.

It was My Wife’s birthday so I wanted to take her out to celebrate and enjoy a night out without the kids. You guys helped make it possible. Perfect location, Beautiful Hotel, Amazing view of the water. Excellent staff. Everything about it was perfect! Thank you! We will be back again that’s for sure.

A very normal hotel for expensive prices. There is a $25 destination fee that helps cover the “Daily enhanced WiFi”. However, the Wifi is very weak in the rooms, the speed was 1 megabit per second. I could not have regular Zoom meetings from my room at any point during my 4-day stay. If this is important for you, I’d choose a different hotel.

One of the main reasons we chose the Renaissance was the hot tub which my husband and I really enjoy. We were very disappointed when we got into the tub and found it lukewarm and jets not working. Plus NO towels to be found. Children that were in the pool were using what looked like face cloths to dry off. We reported the fact it was not working that evening. To our disappointment it was still not working the next day, and wasn’t even warm! After a day of a lot of walking walking, we had been looking forward to a hot soak in the hot tub.

Breakfast was very good. The bar was wonderful, staff very friendly and attentive.

Selected this hotel due to advertised pool (stayed with young kids) and high ratings. The pool area was in pretty bad shape. Not particularly clean, hot tub water appeared yellow and dirty. The rooms were clean but rather outdated especially the bathroom. This had a high rating of 4.4-4.6 online, I would say closer to 3.0-3.5 given the quality of amenities.

If you want to stay somewhere to drop off bags and go out but not “stay in“ then this hotel makes sense. The staff was lovely, location is great, right off Seaport Blvd. Room was clean but quite outdated and needed a renovation especially the bathroom. Valet process is super efficient, that was great!

Cleanliness of bed room, old muffin on the carpet. Charges for wifi, charged for a bottle of water from room, old rusty fitting in the bathroom. Food was passable, but expensive and burnt the roof of my mouth. I would have discussed with the staff but service was so slow that I didn't have time to complain as I had to go to a meeting in the office. Plus they didn't seem to be approachable and found the breakfast crew in the restaurant to be impatient.

I booked my room ahead of time. 2 kings and when I got there they were not ready for (early checkin 130. The person at desk said come back at 4. We came back, they had no king rooms, because they had over booked. They had 2 double bed rooms. Which we had to take for the same price. Where else could we stay?

The room was nice, ours. Our friends was not cleaned well. The breakfast they have you pay $25 per person was good food but not worth that.

It's pricey, but from my research, lodging in Boston is pricey across the board.

The location was great. Loved being really close to downtown. Was able to see many of the Boston attractions by just grabbing a quick Uber. The hotel also allowed us to check-in very early at around 9am.

The link for the wedding never worked .the wedding couple said they had a block of 40 rooms it would link to the hotel but said sold out.i called the bride she checked it out and could not explaine why but texted me back said she contacted hotel and fixed it. So back to link witch changed to close phone the hotel So i did no one answers the phone and it sends you a link to book but price is much higher . At witch point i gave up went on booking .com and got a room in about 60 seconds I paid 549 for an average clean room and hadt o park 2 block away for 40 so 600 Maybe in boston people beg to give you money but am 60 years old and never had such a hard time spending my money in my life if ya want to run a luxury property ya need to provide luxury service I stayed with you only because of the wedding party i will never return

Not worth the price. It was not up to the standards of a 4 or 4+ star hotel; maybe 20 years ago. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the decor in the rooms were very dated. The "ocean" view was not much of a view as it was obstructed by other buildings. Staying in the top floor suites felt like you were aboard a ship sailing in the ocean. The sway was tolerable but a little disorienting at times.

The hotel food was very good and the rooms were very clean.
