Was cold cause of the window in the bathroom. Felt a draft of coldness coming thru.

Staff was very friendly. Facility was clean. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Walking distance to beach was awesome.

Only option for parking is Valet, which is a little pricey in my opinion, specially if you are not using the car a ton ($49/night), plus they charge it at the beginning of the stay, so you can’t have a change of plans. BUT street parking is not easy, so you will most definitely want to either only rent a car the day you truly need it or just pay for valet.

Not the biggest hotel but great if you just want a place to sleep! It’s half a block away from the beach, with plenty of options for food and shopping (hotel doesn’t have pool or restaurant/breakfast). Staff is amazing: super kind and friendly! The hotel provides beach towels, floaties, snorkel gear and beach chairs for free, which is great!

The building itself showed wear and tear and some installed furnishings of the room were not well installed. The bathroom specifically had shaky towel rods and toilet paper dispensers. The showerhead and faucet handles could have been better for more accurate temperature control.

Extremely great location just a block away from very nice beaches. Just around the corner from great shopping, food, bars, and activities. Friendly staff offered daily rentals of beach chairs, towels, and snorkeling gear.

We booked for 3 people but only got 2 towels and had to ask for more. Also only got 2 coffee pods, 2 sugar and 2 whitener in total, for 3 people for a 3 day stay!

The hotel was just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable

This is not the property’s fault other than having thin windows and insulation but you can hear the street noise, conversations, etc like they are in the room with you.

It didn't really have much amenities as I would like. No microwave only coffee machine and fridge in room. They only have a small parking lot to vallet which they charge $49 per night, there are other parking garages that they recommend which is a block down the road. There was also a homeless man sleeping outside on the street of the hotel so just be prepared for that.

Location is right near the beach and across from an ABC mart. Very convenient for those who enjoy walking around shops and restaurants. Takes about 15 mins to get to the main shops of the Royal Hawaiian. It was a small hotel so we didn't have to wait long for elevators. The staff were all nice and helpful and our room was cleaned everyday with towels replaced.

Nothing, all was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a little on the small side but you are paying for location. The location is excellent and right next to Waikiki beach. The beds could be a little larger but they're a good fit for the room.

We had an excellent week long stay at Hotel Renew. We had a party of 4, and were in 2 rooms with partial sea view and balconies. For the location right next to Waikiki beach, this hotel is a gem. The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. They were great at providing us with what we needed for the day such as beach chairs, towels, extra coffee, travel advice and bus schedules. The lobby is well decorated and feels very relaxing as soon as you walk in. The rooms may feel a bit on the small side to some, but you are paying for location. They are clean and modern, with a great shower and bathroom. Lots of places to unpack and hide suitcases away. We got ourselves organized on day one to clear the floor and put clothes away into the warddrobe and it felt great, once tidy, for the rest of the stay. Beautiful views of the sunset dropping over the ocean horizon from the balconies that face north. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we will stay here again for our next visit to Honolulu.

I would have liked having a room that looked out over the beach,since this was my first trip to Oahu, instead of the other buildings and seeing workers. Also, the parking elevation is awful. Hard to get car without it scraping bottom.

I didn’t like that the beds were uncomfortable and the ac wasn’t functioning properly for the duration of the stay. The bathroom was still dirty and I believe they gave us dirty stained linen when they cleaned one morning. Unacceptable.

The affordability of the property and the proximity of it to all festivities, stores/shops and food spots. Of course the distance from waikiki literally was outside the door.
