Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe lobby, elevators, entrances, and the entire floor all smelled badly of marijuana. It was obvious the carpet in the hallways had not been vacuumed. There was a large carpet stain in the room and the room either hadn’t been vacuumed and it wasn’t vacuumed well. We could hear people running up and down the hall repeatedly on the floor above us during the day and at night.
Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was great!

United States-Had to wait at arrival because room wasn’t ready (we got there an hour and a half past check in time). -Pool wasn’t running first night. -Always had to ask for towels. First night towels weren’t washed or dried and had to wait till 10 pm to get some. -A/C didn’t work and room was 78-80° the entire stay. Finally on last night we turned off and it somehow became cooler (76-78°). We called the first night and nothing was done about it. -Breakfast was just so/so. Hot items were luke warm at best. There was no just plain meat or egg items.
Location was great. Staff was friendly.
