Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The staff was very helpful and accommodating! One of the wheels on my wheelchair broke and we had to order another. The front desk staff made sure we got the package as soon as it arrived!

United StatesHad a few issues. The dishwasher was beeping every 30 seconds. A fork was stuck in the bottom and it had not finished the cycle. One tv did not work. Got both issues fixed. The lights didn’t always work. Maybe need new light switches?
That they had a 1 bedroom suite with 2 televisions. Great shower! Wonderful breakfast.

United StatesThere was no bottled water to be had for at least the last two days. No vending machines, only the alcove which was not stocked well. I took a microwave meal the second night when I returned at midnight from visiting my husband at the hospital (patient at Vanderbilt). There was no one at the front desk so I told the manager the next day when I got something else. She made a big huge deal out of it and said, “Our front desk is manned 24 hrs a day!” I told her there was no one at the desk. She asked me if I had called out for someone (at midnight). “Did you say ‘Hey’ to call out for someone?” I couldn’t believe it! I could have just not told her but I made sure I did. Also, the hotel has a laundry room with machines that only take quarters; but there is no change machine and they will not give quarters at the desk.
Facilities, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast all fine.
