Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staying at Marriotts guarantees a comfortable stay my room was a little more than anticipated but always a good stay! The staff was great, didn’t eat breakfast but grabbed a cup of coffee and banana for the road the food was covered and was very clean!

It was alot more than I expected. The location was perfect the room was very clean. I really liked the fact that it was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast bar was good as well.

United StatesAt check in we had a girl with a nose ring that constantly complained about her broken car, She put us in a handycap room that had a very low bed, unusable tub, and kitchen sink was good for handicap, but not for us. We had three adults and two table chairs to sit at. The room was just not right for us and I am not sure why we were put there. This girl constantly complained and told us she was moving to Colorado. I say good.... I hope she does not come back.
The location was great, The facility was amazingly clean and very nice.

I lived in this area years ago and I have family that lives there still. I love the convenience to multiple restaurants and activities. The breakfast was decent even with COVID. There was a nice kitchenette to use. No concerns of safety for us.

United StatesKeys!!! OMG We had to have them reset our keys at least 4 times a day! Otherwise this would be an ‘exceptionally excellent’ review! Once again probably not their fault but an equipment failure! But it is a pain to walk around the property to get in and get your keys remade often! We had fun though and the staff were remarkable!

United StatesHousekeeping services were very difficult to communicate with and they preferred to just leave and turn the tag to no service needed while we still had one in the shower and two of us going for breakfast and still needing clean towels for showers. This was a Sunday morning at 840!!
