Checking in was not easy. I booked on booking.com and even after providing the confirmation number, the front desk staff was not able to find my reservation. Long story short, somehow my name was changed in the process of migrating to their 1990s computer system. When we got to the room we noticed some animal hair, Probably a cat, on the quilt. When we told front desk they brought us a new linen set that didn’t fit The bed. They sent a housekeeping person to us and they only handed us another set of bedsheets. And that didn’t fit either. When we pointed that out they transferred us to a different room which had no balcony and a smaller bed. Basically we got a downgrade because we complained.

The front desk staff was rude when we asked about getting a room with a couch that pulled out ..

First we were given the bathroom door was falling off the hinges .. 2nd room the toilet had a terrible ring inside .. dirty ring .. no wash clothes and crumbs in the bed .. stains on the walls which I cleaned off ..

We have stayed at 11 hotels during our month long vacation and this hotel was the best stay during the entire trip. They have the most amazing staff members we have ever had. They will go over and above any expectations you could have. We will defiantly stay at this hotel when we travel to Salt Lake again.

My room had a left over soft drink by a chair, there were no wash clothes in the room. Otherwise it was great!

The hot breakfast was a great addition after months of COVID restrictions.

Computer system was down when we arrived so check in took a long time. No sheets for pull out sofa in the room. Called front desk & they said they would bring them up. After 30 minutes I called again & was told they were waiting for laundry. When I said that was unacceptable they said they had some sheets but blankets or pillows were still in laundry. We never received the blanket or pillow. We had just come in from a long drive & had 5 people in a 2 bedroom suite. We needed the pull out sofa & it was disappointing that we had to go to bed without a blanket for it. We also had difficulty connecting to wifi. However, I will say the staff was friendly. They just need to ensure that all rooms with a pull out sofa have adequate bedding.

the pool wasnt functioning the first 2 days we were there, we didn't have clean sheets for the sofa bed, the dishes were not cleaned yet in dishwasher, we didn't have extra toilet paper, tissue or enough towels when we checked in. The property is dirty. The hallways and stairway were neglected, you could tell housekeeping didn't give attention to these areas. The washing machine leaked and the dryer didn't get the clothes completely dry.

Great location with restaurants and shops within a few blocks. The entire apartment was extremely spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was also in-unit laundry and a full kitchen that made it convenient.

May have been under staffed. Getting clean towels for the room was an ordeal, resorted to buying some.no toilet paper in the room or paper towels in the kitchen, elevator was dirty. As a previous Marriott ops manager, I was surprised. We stay at Marriott because of the requirements for the company and this was a bit of a let down… which I will attribute to short staffed

We were on 3rd floor and elevators were broken. Sounded to me like they had been and perhaps could have given us a heads up. Physically one in our party couldn't go up and down 3 flights. They should have blocked those rooms so they could not be reserved or at least adjust the price.

It was very disappointing that the outdor swimming pool and hot tub were not filled with water. It was further disappointing that the outdoor firepit was broken (and had been broken for awhile). All faucets in rooms need updating. The door handle broke off when pulled in the wrong direction. All-in-all the hotel needs updating. A rather disappointing stay.

Most everything was good. Clean and very friendly staff. A good value for the price. The location was fine - downtown SLC. It was great having two rooms to spread out.
