There is no place to prepare food.

You know, it's like camping, but without all the hassle of packing all that gear. The bed was comfy, but I'd suggest bringing an extra blanket 'cause the one they provide is a bit thin. The bathrooms were clean, and the camp host is right there if you need anything.

The location is great! Very relaxing as you can hear the sound of the river. I feel refreshed and this is something I always wanna do to reload good energy from nature.

The place to stay was advertised on Booking.com as a "villa" - turned out to be a hard frame tent. I am not fluent in camping language but, gee, villa is definitely a misleading overstatement. I received 4 multi page emails with all but essential information! I would have appreciated ONE and ONE ONLY email that would feature the camping map (not a link, but an actual map!), a WiFi password, and a clear statement that there is no cell reception on the site. All those links in those emails are useless when there is no connection for miles around! It was near impossible to find the place at night despite GPS brought me right there - the only thing from the camping that is visible from the road is the cattle kraal-style gates that are closed at night. The camping sign IS NOT VISIBLE at all. IDK why the visibility issue is not obvious to the staff.

The place definitely got a potential.

*There was no nearby grocery or convenience store, but there is a delicious 🍔 place nearby!! Don't try the local one. Try the farther one. It is absolutely delicious! *People decide to turn up the 🎶 and ruin the peaceful moment 🙄. Next time, I need to make sure I read the fine print - there was no electricity on my cabin. I had no lights the entire time or the ability to charge my phone. I found one outlet in the seating area and charged my laptop and 📱 there. I also charged my phone when driving. I didn't know I could 🍳 there! Next time, I'm bringing my kit and using the fire pit and my little dining area! 🚿 and 🚻 are shared and are located in nearby cabins. Parking is on the other side. You can park in the first time, drop off your stuff, and then park across the street. The distance wasn't an issue, but the severely uneven ground was the issue.

Cleanliness, view, comfort, serenity, location, access to river, just about everything really! Hiking trails nearby are a must-do!! The view from the cabin is breathtaking.

The place looks like it can use some TLC. I understand it's been raining, but the place in general needs a bit cleaning. It also looked like they're making new tents and they're stuck halfway.

Too hot. 95 degrees in late July, no fans were provided for the tent/cabin. Parking is a bit far, especially when you need to walk in such heat. I wish it had drinkable water and coffee in the morning.

Clean sheets, comfy bed, wonderful outdoor showers. River nearby was not icy mountain water and was very pleasant to lay down in it to cool off, beautiful night sky, grocery store and restaurants 15 min driving distance.

some tents might be too close but good for groups, some were too close to the entrance and the way down to the river was a lil tricky but not too bad

it was nice area perfect space we were in. close to the water which was great, showers and restroom were clean for being outdoors, rooms were super clean and bed was comfy and soft with fresh sheets.

Parking was inconvenient located across the road from the camp facility. There is an area to load/unload cars & a few carts are available for guests to use. Staff is one person who is not always available. It was hard to find my spot at arrival or know the protocol of checking etc. Few rules with some guests being allowed to have dogs off leash. For the price, I expected a bit less rustic.

The location is amazing located on the Kern River. The tent/cabin was nice, clean, and offered the minimum amenities. Dog friendly too. I'm not sure why there was a pet fee. Good spot if you were spending your time in the area. Would recommend for a quiet retreat.
