I was advised to step outside the room to access wifi. the room furniture was covered in a film of dust the carpet looked unclean with pieces or dirt and visible bits of fluff/debris The bathroom shower appeared to have gum visible near the drain Despite the booking stating no additional fees I was asked to pay a deposit. When I contacted the hotel about a missing items in room I had no response. Just not a great experience definately lives up to te star rating but should be cheaper than advertised if that is the standard or room. Or at bare minium invest in a hoover and ensure rooms are vacumed, dust free and no signs of previous guests. You always get extra points for going above for guest and not responding to my email aswell as a missing package helped sour the experience. My booking also stated no breakfast but was advised breakfast was available which was very confusing.

The staff however are great, the sheets were thankfully clean super friendly and the location is perfect.

NO HOT WATER FOR SHOWER. Left it to run for a long time, top no avail. I am 78, and when I discovered there was no elevator to the second floor, I was not offered help, but told it's not that many steps.;

At best, I would call this a motel. All rooms are exterior to street and parking directly in front of lower level rooms. Street traffic can be loud. Additionally, sound carries very easily from outside and people are not cognizant of their voices late at night, music playing in their cars, and car doors slamming. Smokers too tend to stand right outside their rooms to smoke therefore you have smoke odor infiltrating your “smoke free” room. There should be a place smokers have to go to in order to smoke. For one night, it was fine.

Room was clean. Bed was very clean and nicely presented. Nice shower stall. Room was small with double bed. Staff very helpful, personable, accommodating. Very convenient, short walk, to Detroit’s Riverwalk. Although, there is a shuttle service, free, operates on tips, it doesn’t start until 4 pm. The attached diner, closes at 3 pm. I found it pricey for breakfast. The hotel offers free continental breakfast which suited us. We walked to Little Caesars Arena for an afternoon game. Took about 20+ min, easy walk.

I didn't like the uneasiness of the environment and the constant yelling by other customers. It all seemed chaotic and rowdy. Couldn't be comfortable sitting in the room.

The employee at the front desk was a very nice guy when checking me in. He let me check in about a couple hours early. The room was clean given the condition of the building. The linens seemed pretty clean.

They called us an hour away from arriving to tell us they didnt have a room for us . i used a payment plan to pay for the room. i had to pay cash out of pocket for the new hotel,it messed up my trip.

There was no hot water for the shower. There were some rips on some corners of the room. It needs to be taken care of.

The amenities are there for what I needed. Bed was very comfy.

I did not like that we were not informed about the construction on the property beforehand, nor were we informed about the fact that there wasn't going to be a continental breakfast because of said construction. Had I known that before hand I would've booked elsewhere and not spent over 400 on a place that we didn't get to use the full amenities

I know you are under construction but we had basically no hot water, the toilet (room 246) was barely secured to the ground and the outlets on the lamp did not work. also very dark in the rooms

I think the price was overly high for the type of motel. I understand they are working in remodeling but crusty and rusty tub (good thing I didn't need a bath), sheets and mattresses older than me, the price was just too high.

There was a bunch of trash light next to the room door, old dirty heating/ cooling unit. Weird smell in the room

It’s location. It was close to the event that we were attending next day. Free parking is great, staff was very nice and friendly
