This is the worst place I have ever been

The only thing I didn't like, I wish the stairs were less! Hahaha just joking! Nothing comes to mind!

I have to tell you guys I have traveled the world in 12 different countries over 1,000 cities I have seen good and bad and all cultures! In the United States I stayed at a lot of hotels and places The place I'm at now is called, The Robertson Place! Now you see here in bookings.com ! At a time that my life is going on the downside right now through circumstances not on my own I am a permanent disabled man 58 years old I will be 58 May became homeless and had not much money left a bad circumstances of other hostile places and other hotels they see my disability and have turned me away! Not The Robertson Place! Even though they have stairs I was willing to do it because I didn't want to be on the street! As soon as I got there the manager helped me and the owner of the place called me to see if I was okay! The other night I had to borrow money from my friend! Even though it's my last day and I had to check out they let me keep I stay here me promising them to ever be to give the money to them by the later the afternoon they did it! Being on a walker is very hard to be able to carry a lot of things and when you trying to do something but they went over the beyond the Call of duty The only really cares about the people here You ever hear the expression, "Don't judge a book by its cover" ? In many cases the appearance of it is not so much it's an old building and it's a real solid nice building it has as a rooftop where people gather and the associate is strong as a nice kitchen people here are great, the kitchen here is great and everybody treats everyone with respect! I would get this more than 10 points I get this morning 5 stars You can have your fancy hotels! But as for me I'd rather be in a place like this where it feels more like home! BED BUGS!!! I was bitten! I’m still afraid I may have brought them home with me. Horrific place. Falling apart. Staff was miserable and texted me later to confide that they were quitting because of management abuse (unpaid labor) and BED BUGS. One of the other guests told me it was a crack house and told me to “run”. This place needs to be shut down and owners/management sued.

Was impossible to find, we booked for a private room since they texted me we could check-in from 5pm to 00.00 but they sold our private room and we had to sleep with 2 other guys in a really small room, our beds were not made at all so we probably slept where someone else slept the night before, everything was extremely dirty, from the stairs to the "reception" (if so it can be called since it was basically a couch with an ashtray and trash on top in a room without even a ceiling) the man who we think was the owner was probably high af and we slept with our clothes on and our backpacks in bed with us since the place felt everything but safe, and we woke up as early as possible in the morning just to run away from that nightmare. The kitchen was horrible and better not talk about the restrooms. Overall, it may be the worst hotel in LA, it's really cheap but it's not worth it to save a few dollars to have what can easily be the worst experience of your life.

The location listed on the property was a five minute walk from the actual location. The bedrooms and bathrooms were quite dirty and gross. The bed was rather uncomfortable too. In hindsight, I would pay a bit more for a nicer place.

The place was a disaster. The photos don’t match the site. Broken everything. Disgustingly dirty. A guest literally told me to run. The most texted me a couple days later telling me she’s working to get the place shut down. AND THERE ARE BED BUGS. I was bitten and am now terrified I may have brought them home.

Literally everything else. Paint peeling off the entrance walls and steps, and dirt all around. Advertising single beds with none available. Bedrooms are dirty and over cramped. Bathroom smells horrible possible mold. Shower condition is horrible. Worst of all they tried to charge me more for the room, when I got to the property. They say the $17 a night is for one night only but don’t tell you before you book.

The bathroom downstairs had absolutely no door. Everything is under construction so I was walking over floor coverings and nails, you get the picture. The bedroom is the very first room you walk into- it used to be a store front but now it's a super long bedroom.

The managers super nice, however she has to listen to the higher ups and they've left the place unfinished.

Why was there no one at this location?

I am happy that I got my money refunded. I was happy to for the education about this place and the Zen home. We came to the address given to us and no one was there. We walked to the Zen Home and we could not say there because the bunk beds were for men. My wife knew of a hostel close to Zen Home. We went to the other hostel. I was happy that we didn't sleep on the streets pay a high price for a hotel.
