The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, and I wish we had a microwave and a bigger table in the room.

The hotel was great, beautifully renovated, very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and location was excellent.

Aircon didn't work the best. We did not complain to staff about this as wasn't too much of an issue for us.

Newly renovated rooms that are very large, especially for NY. Location is convenient for the subway, walkable to central park, and close enough to Times Square but not close enough to hear or be as busy. Coffee shop downstairs is quite nice too.

As others have said, the hotel is "no frills" - there is no iron or ironing board available, the toilet paper is cheap and flimsy, refillable bottles of water are the only real "extras" provided in-room. On balance though, the price still seems reasonable given the location in such a significant city, but there are some minor improvements which could be made without a need to significantly increase prices. A few minor issues in the room - the bathroom ceiling was peeling from condensation and the usb chargers in our room didn't work very well - they would only partially charge electronics, even when plugged in overnight. The air con system is also incredibly loud when on full tilt.

Loved the look and design of the hotel - it feels retro yet glamorous and there has been some solid attention to detail in dressing the various spaces. The location is also excellent - almost on Broadway, near many theatres and close to Central Park - all of Manhattan is easily accessible via the subway system with access points nearby for most lines. Our room was nice, a little smaller than we were expecting from the description, but it did have a seating area and the bed was large and comfortable, and it was very clean. It was also surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy street. Staff were friendly and helpful and the local area has lots of great options for food and drink.

They have no breakfast even though they say they have. We booked our stay with breakfast included, just to realise that what it gets us is a 15$ credit in the coffee stand at the lobby. Very disappointing, feels like a scam. And very not suitable for travelling with kids

AC was not very cold and the bathroom was very small.

Double queen room is a great size for NYC and hotel and street were quiet at night. The room was clean and had a steamer which was a nice touch. We enjoyed breakfast in the on-site cafe too. There was a water and ice machine on our floor which was great for keeping water bottles filled as we toured the city. Location is really convenient to several subway lines and taxi service.

Minor quibbles - Paper cups in the bathroom were removed and weren’t replaced. Ice bucket and bottle opener in the room, but no glasses.

Spacious common lounge areas and nice in-house coffee/breakfast bar. Rooms are well presented and styled.

USD $100 per night bond which was refunded 6 days later.

Location. Clean. Boutique feel. Big rooms. Nearby convenience stores. Close to transport, Broadway, Times Square, restaurants. Walk in shower and vanity with room to place cosmetics etc. Quiet enough room so no trouble sleeping even though we faced 8th Avenue. Everything was to our liking. (Deluxe King room 7th floor). I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Some minor service definitely need to be improved, but that's depends on who you met.

We (a family) stayed here for 7 nights, and we enjoyed our stay very much- the space, room and its facility (wouldnt say it's perfect but functional for us), the water/ ice provider in each floor, the opening space/ work room in first floor, and the location. We came back to the room for nap and sleep, always quiet (though when people passed by you might hear their talking, but in overall it was short and monir).

The only thing missing was a small fridge to store snacks and drinks. The hall outside the rooms were quite dark and had a little spooky vibe.

Great location. Exceptional staff!! Our room was on the 8th floor, and besides hearing guests in other rooms a little bit it was pretty quiet despite the traffic outside. The bed was huge and comfortable, the room was spacious and bright and the city view was very nice. It also came with free water, which you could refill and the machine also offered crushed ice, which you could put in a cooling bucket. The TV was big and had several Apps and TV channels installed. The subway to the airport and downtown was right in front of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to NYC for the first time!

The rooms are not very well insulated so you can hear noise from street and next door bedrooms

It's n amazing location. Bed is comfortable and the hotel is relatively new which makes it so much better. Everything in NY is expensive so be ready to open your wallet when you step out on the street. Love the city and would stay there again.
