Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaWhile the lighting was nice for ambience, it wasn’t great for doing makeup at all. There was a long mirror to use inside the closet system but it was also was blocked in shadow. I wish there was a way to turn up the light in the bathroom when you would like to. I would not have wanted to be getting ready for a special event with this lighting. Falling asleep at night was disturbed by people being disruptive on the street below. Of course this is not the hotels fault, but I was surprised I could hear this so clearly despite being 10 floors up- there were people screaming loudly (assuming these ones were either high or mentally unwell) a few times every day and night. This did make me hesitant to venture out for a walk instead of in a car, but we just paid attention as we walked around each day. The hotel does have safety precautions in place, as an example you can only use the elevator with your key card.
The staff greeted us with efficiency and friendliness. Each interaction with staff was really welcoming and kind. Thank you so much Gabby! Arriving to our room it felt like we were the only ones on the whole floor. Complimentary bottled water was in the room, the TV was easy to navigate, the soaps and shampoos supplied smelled delightful to me. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. There were lots of little details we were very happy with. We found it easy to walk to breakfast both of the mornings we were there. Underground parking was extra, but not overpriced. FYI- We did choose to pay directly to the parking garage over the weekend, as the weekend rates are very reasonable. We ordered takeout for the room from the Wood and Paddle, that is attached to the hotel. Just a burger, fries, salad and crème brûlée - all excellent.

United StatesParking was on the expensive side. All meals, including breakfast, had to be purchased at a restaurant in the area.
We liked the helpful staff who directed us to things we wanted to see in the area. We also felt secure and appreciated the parking close by.

IcelandThe downtown in Minneapolis on a friday is a ghost town. Few people on the streets, little to do and many restaurants closed. Its a business area, not for tourists.
Very clean hotel, good room and excellent beds. The restaurant was very good both dinner and breakfast.

United StatesOur room had some rough spots which we attempted to call the front desk about but they never answered the phone . There was a blood smear on the extra toilet paper roll and what looked to be a bloody finger print on the upper right part of the bathroom door . Also a very dark colored stain near the foot of one bed . It still amazes me that so many hotels choose carpet over a flooring that can be sanitized
Pleasant and helpful front desk staff . Parking garage was very safe .

United KingdomNo room service in early afternoon. Most hotels I've been to will check back for late sleepers, but this one did not. I usually wouldn't be bothered by this as much but we booked the suite and spent a bit more for this stay and expected a bit higher of a bar.
Perfect location for pride and US Bank Stadium. The staff were very friendly. The view of our suite was essentially the wall of an outer building, which is a bit bizarre but we kind of liked it as it kept the sunlight out. This is not a place to stay for beautiful views of Minneapolis (or, any views whatsoever, but I preferred the ability to sleep in.

United StatesThere is no where for my dog to do her duty in downtown Minneapolis. The Peabody in Memphis has an extremely small dog area but it does the trick for my dog. I'm not asking for a full blown dog park but just a few square feet of grass would be greatly appreciated by me and my dog. As well, downtown Minneapolis is looking increasingly shabby. Wake up and re-vitalize it before it is too late.
Restaurant was a big improvement over the one in the Radisson. I had a pheasant pappardelle that was fabulous. Also like the fact that dogs are still welcome at this hotel.
