Minor issue our air conditioning didn’t work

Location was close to our venue. Lots of restaurants nearby. Excellent staff . Large comfortable rooms .

I booked a king suite. None available at reception so moved to regular king. I was charged for the suite no discount for lesser room. I won't stay at this property again.

My only issue was that the air conditioning was difficult to control. It was either too cold or too hot. The person on the pullout sofa, which was right next to the heater/air conditioner was cold for most of the night, while the bed which was a farther distance away from the was quite warm.

Great location, currently being tastefully redecorated, and a lovely large room. The breakfast was fantastic. Loved that they had a nightlight in the bathroom. Brilliant!

under construction so some floors had construction residue; chief complaint was that only 1 ice maker worked at a time and it varied which floor the working ice maker was on

The deposit is ridiculous!! $400 if live local??? That makes no sense!!! And then it’s not on the site when booking!!!

I know you remodeling, but it was the dust from the drywall that made my head real stuffy

It had a very nice breakfast, and the room was very clean and very nice. It was quiet at night we enjoyed our stay.

The free breakfast was a tad underwhelming. Options were limited, but the waffle makers were a nice touch.

Location was convenient. There was some remodeling going on at the hotel, which limited parking a bit, but nothing that we couldn't deal with. Staff members were very friendly.

In a whirlpool room but the whirlpools were being removed and not in service. Hot tub was out of service as well.

Location was good. Not too far from Frankenmouth about a 20 minute drive. Lots of restaurants and stores around the hotel. Hotel was clean.

We were never told that Hilton/Hampton would hold an extra $50.00 per nite for "incidental charges". Not told on Booking.com or when we checked in. After getting to our room, my husband rec'd an alert on his phone from the back for our confirmed rate + an extra $150.00. Immediately called down to the desk & the same gentleman who checked us in answered and he told us $50 per nite extra hold... something new they were doing but it would be refunded at check out. At checkout if told 2-3 days. This addl hold took away from vacation funds that wasn't planned. Won't use Hilton/Hampton again. Never had this with any other chain.

Love the desk in the suite to do puzzles on. We stayed here last year for our annual trip to birch run/frankenmuth and came back again! Short drive, less crowded and a lot cheaper than staying right there by them.

The carpet in the hall on our floor was ruffled up. Could easily trip over it. The manager said that the facility was being remodeled. We should have been informed of that in advance.

Breakfast was fine. Had real Old Fashioned Oat Meal and omlets.

Had to purchase bottled water (would be nice to have 1 or 2 complimentary in the room). Extra blanket on sofas for relaxing with would also be nice. Lighting for most of the space was florescent and hard on my migraine sensitivity.

The couch was very uncomfortable. It seemed like it was really old. And it sat back too far on the back, and there was too much of the space between the back. The room above me, they sounded like a herd of cattle all night. You could actually hear them walking around.

Is the parking was easy accessible. There was plenty of parking for the facility, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. The facility was nice and clean the breakfast room was nice and big. My spouse really liked the fresh coffee every couple of hours. I also called ahead and asked if I could block a room in place because I wanted to send flowers to my spouse and they locked my room in place and they put the flowers in my room for me.
