The beds were VERY uncomfortable, definitely could use more pillows, covers, towels in the room, maybe a chair. There was no washer and dryer close by. Everywhere you went you needed the tram bc its very far from the beach strip.

It was a cute little place, convenient as far food, drinks, shops. The tram to bring you around was nice. Pools were beautiful. Everything was clean. Overall it was nice.

confusing to check in especially with no one around . when I called the Agent she was extremely rude and had me worried that this was all a scam untill I hung up and asked strangers walking for clear directions. also we didn’t have no key at all (just codes) which was fine untill trying to enter the main building during a storm which I then had to run all the way around the building with my 2 year old . next time we will be staying somewhere else’s ….also the room smelt horrible, thankfully I had my own cleaning supply’s .

The location is terrible. No customer service will be available once you arrive. The beds are very uncomfortable and squeaky, the room is not as advertised, and lastly, the A/C unit did not work!

The room is not as advertised. Did not have bottom sheet on one bed. Trash was in room when we arrived and we were expected to haul trash away when we left. We did not. The water facet in bathroom was broke making it hard to turn on/off because owners evidently can’t be bothered to spend money to replace it. Water pressure in shower is terrible. There is door connecting to actual Condo that someone opened a couple of times which was very scary and dangerous on our end. We ended up only staying one night because we really couldn’t enjoy our stay at this location.

We decided to book a room that was smaller because it had a small refrigerator. The refrigerator was not working and there was no replacement and no service repair. So we ended up with the smaller room WITHOUT the refrigerator. This cost us extra money- had to purchase an additional cooler and lots of ice. Additional cooler took up valuable space in an already cramped area. The mgmt knew before check-in that the frig was not working. A call or a text to us ahead of time would have been appreciated. Because we could not check in early- we decided to grocery shop while we waited for our room. If we would have known ahead of time- we would not have purchased food for the week..... the beds were AWFUL! Highly uncomfortable and noisy from the plastic bed covers, not to mention the center of the bed dropped 2-3 inches when you sat on it, but the head and foot of the bed were hard as all get out. There was also a toilet paper holder missing and a dirty q-tip found on the chest of drawers when we checked it. EWE. The spa near the pool had some nasty stuff floating in it as well. When we first checked in, the door codes to the complex did not work. When we checked out at 10am, we had asked for about 15 more minutes. The cleaning staff could see that we were struggling to get everything packed up, it's not like we were still in bed, ignoring a check out time. But all they kept saying was "check out is at 10, check at is a 10," and wanting to push their way thru the door. We asked for 15 minutes to finish up. They decided to cut the power to our room (assuming to get us moving) This was uncalled for especially since they could clearly see we were just about finished and asked for only 15 minutes. (we only used 5 of those extra minutes BTW) No chairs in the room either- which I pretty much knew from the pictures. I would NOT recommend Salty Escape to anyone.

I liked that we could walk to restaurants & shops but all were highly expensive. The pool was good, along with the bath-house.

I was hoping for a balcony but the window view was still nice for the price so no complaints there.

the area was wonderful, is located in Baytowne Village on the golf course. Location has everything you could ever need, except for the beach but the pool area is wonderful with 3 jacuzzi’s, a grilling area, and a large pool. We contacted the owner about an issue and it was resolved within 30 minutes.
