You can hear the trains, but you get used to it. Actually it did not interrupt our sleeping.

Very nice looking, close to Old Town and trains. Easy access to freeways. Beds are excellent, sleep very well.

This was the third time I've stayed at Old Town Inn. It's a great value, clean and well maintained, with a friendly accommodating staff. I will be choosing to stay at Old Town Inn whenever I'm in the San Diego area!

Only downside for me as I’m a light sleeper was traffic, and the bugle call from across the street at the Navy base was on loud hailer system. Minor points not the hotels fault

Room was immaculate and clean, breakfast was fair and, never used the swimming pool but it looked clean and tidy, Josh I think it was on reception explained everything perfectly and a great welcome

The laundry room is slightly dark and only one machine is working.

It’s within walking distance to old town San Diego. Parking is safe and available. Room is classic style and clean. Breakfast is quite good. Staff is friendly and helpful. We like it!

We enjoyed our 4-day stay very much. The breakfast space and selection were limited, but adequate. There is a restaurant called Perry's nearby, with great breakfasts. The motel was built in the 50s but in very good condition.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with close parking. Location of the hotel was great - central, easy to find, with beautiful landscaping. Staff were friendly, daily housekeeping was provided. We appreciated the sofa, refrigerator and microwave.

Finding a table during breakfast was sometimes difficult during popular times. Because of the rainy weather we didn't use the outdoor patio tables. Other than that small inconvenience, the property was excellent for our needs.

Room was very comfortable with all modern amenities. Breakfast had a good variety of cold items, was a good way to start the day. The location was excellent, we arrived by Airport Flyer to the Old Town Transit station, then used the excellent transit system to visit all the locales during our stay. We visited, Coronado Island, La Jolla, Downtown, Balboa Park and many excellent restaurants in the region.

We got in late (our flight into Tijuana from Mazatlan was delayed), and then we had to cross the border, get our car and drive to Julian. I did call ahead and let them know. A very nice woman was waiting for us and gave us keys. She also recommended that we should stop in the San Diego area for a late dinner, as nothing would be open by the time we got to Julian.

The hotel was very short walk to Old Town and the transit station. Breakfast was easy and varied. Staff excellent. I appreciated the guest laundry facilities.

Cons: - The surrounding area was ok. Neighborhood was a little run down. - Outdoor grassy area for dogs was full of poop. Needs to be cleaned.

Pros: - Great price. - Good basic breakfast- Waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, coffee, juice, milk. - Pet friendly. - Comfortable beds. Slept great! - Friendly staff.

So tell is very clean. I've stayed at this hotel two times before. I like the swimming pool. It's a motel not really a hotel. I like the staff. There's lots of restaurants close by. The hotel is very well maintained. I like the size of the room. I like the location of the room.

Breakfast was good and the staff let us use the room to warm up other meals, and we saw some people using it to play games. The small room was functional. The location was walking distance form the Old Town, and the staff very friendly and helpful/

The parking was a bit snug, especially since there were some big pickup trucks.

The staff was friendly and the room was nice. The best part for us was the location as it was within a 10 minute drive to both the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld.

I absolutely stay at this place when I come to San Diego every single time the price is fair it's very clean it's got full kitchenettes and a microwave and a refrigerator. I can bring my fur babies and the staff they are absolutely excellent excellent people!!!!
