The burlap bad place inside the fireplace. A one-time fire. I had to sit in the lobby for over an hour waiting for someone to show up so I could get another burlap bag to our evening fire. Would have been nice to have a fire in the morning with our breakfast and coffee. First time I’ve ever had a hotel room with this sort of set up. Other than that. We really enjoyed our stay, the comforter was a bit heavy and bulky and kept sliding off the bed during the night .

Landscaping was lovely with roses outside our window. Very clean and well kept. Pool area was beautiful, and game room nice. Fire pits were a nice amenity.

Uneven pavement by ice machine causing me to trip and fall. I reported it to the office, and an incident report made. Two days later not so much as a warning sign had been put up. Too, I tried to fill out Oceanpoint’s survey, and the survey would not let me respond. Other than that, the facility was great.

Just surprised that there was no extra chair or a table in the room. I have never been in a hotel room that didn't have a table. The room was certainly large enough to have a table. With two beds, seems you would also have two chairs. ??? Just odd without even a table. Everything else was just fine.

The Property was clean and near the beach. The room was large and comfortable with two queen beds. The CowTripper restaurant nearby was very good.

The water pressure in the shower was inadequate. The heater was dated and a little difficult to control room temperature. The closest ice machine was broken, but another one was available.

We found this place quiet and restful, close to the boardwalk. It provided everything we needed except for a microwave. Parking was right outside our unit. We saw a wounded deer on Hwy 1 near the hotel and the receptionist assisted us in finding an agency to report this. We're not sure whether or not they were able to locate and treat the injured animal.

The location is awesome. The beds and bedding are very high quality and comfortable. Access to the ocean is better than any other choice on Moonstone Beach. The size and location of the property are excellent. There is plenty of seating, games for the kids, a hiking trail to the beach, and a park across the street.

I heard a customer having a problem w/ booking because booking site had misrepresented what could/ could not be booked. The room housekeeping rules were not apparent and my daughter was hoping for Dailey service, but was told you had to make them aware 48 hours ahead.

Site was having employee issues. A manager quit so cafe was understaffed terribly. Employee handling cafe was doing a very admirable job trying to be a good service person, cashier, table bussing , etciSite clean and maintained. Lots for kids to do on site. Location to beach was a 10. X the street.

The bathroom was okay, but small. The rug under the bed seemed a little dirty and the heater was old. But the heater worked very well!

I loved the walk to the beach area. The bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch! We were in the upstairs room so the bathroom was small, but we had a large sitting area in the front of the room with windows looking over the ocean. Breakfast was not included, but it was easy to order and a super cute restaurant.

Pet fee was excessive. Had to pay more upon arrival because Booking.com did not book pet friendly room even though I had requested it. I had to upgrade due to availability at the time of check out.

Great hotel with all the amenities you need and great location in Cambria. Fire pits were great and a nice addition. Very accommodating to pets and the property itself is lovely. Great place to stay if in Cambria.

Do not stay in room 129 that's right next to the storage room. Staff was in there banging stuff around at 7:00 in the morning. The pet fee was high $75 per night.

We go to Cambria every Valentine's Day and always stay at the Ocean point Ranch b/c of the proximity to the beach, town, and restaurants. Single-level room with some ocean views and nice open area nearby.

Light switches beside door in the room didn't seem actually to control any lights.

Excellent location near beach and oceanfront boardwalk, which is nice for walking or running. Located just across the road from a fine park-like point for viewing dolphins and sea otters. Conveniently located next to a good breakfast cafe. Short drive into town for good dinner restaurants. Easy drive to Hearst Castle and to Piedras Blancas elephant seal locality.
