Shower pressure could have been stronger

The property was clean and we had all of the amenities listed available to us. The location was great, as it was just steps from the beach. We loved that it is also pet friendly! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful as well!

The furniture is worn, and needs touch up’s , but it’s all cosmetic.

You can hear everything happening outside, it's close to the road, as well as some of the goings on in other rooms. Also the shower was a little temperamental. There were no major issues though; the bathroom could be a little nicer and the room itself is a little small and a bit bare but it really is fine. I wish the pet fee was included but it's pretty small.

This was a good room for a fantastic location. The staff was very accommodating and kind. There no frills or surprises to this space but it delivers on expectations and gets the job done. If you are hoping to bring your pet and walk to the beach than this is a great spot. There is an elevator and a bathroom area for dogs, and the parking lot is pretty big.

The room was clen for the most part but the one bed had hair all in it and the cabinets were a little dusty. Our room was not cleaned the duration of our stay. We did have to ask for new towels and for the garbage to be taken out at least.

It was very close to the beach and many of our favorite restaurants. We were happy the room had a mini fridge and microwave. This allowed us to bring simple breakfasts and lunches to the beach.

While it was clean the tables and surfaces were scratched - giving it a scruffy appearance. Also, and this isn't the fault of the hotel, but it is rather loud at night with partiers and motorcycles.

The hotel wasn't nearly as nice as shown in pictures online. The room was outdated and you dragged in sand from outside and balcony. There is nothing to clean it up so it sticks to your shoes and feet and carries into your bed. I believe that some kind of rinse station would help a lot to stop the sand issue.

I asked and was told I had an unobstructed view of the bay. I was on the second floor and a tree was blocking my view.

The only wish i would have is for an outside shower when coming from beach. They do have a foot rinsing hose which is adequate. It is an older building but they have done a good job of updating and freshening up.

Location is excellent. While you have to cross Coastal Highway to access the beach, there is a lighted crossing which makes it quick and safe. Even though hotel is in center of town and it was fully occupied, it was quiet and I slept well.

Wish the size of the room was bigger, but that was disclosed based upon booking the room with square footage. Would have been nice to have a broom a dust pan in room to help with sand that we tracked in on the floors from the beach. Since we had our dog we didn’t have at service to our room during our stay so that would have made it cleaner for us during our stay.

Close proximity to beach, new elevator since we were on the third floor was great! Staff was very helpful to assist with anything we needed.

Some things that could be updated were the 2 range stove top that didn't work in our room. We tried making pancakes one morning, but it wasn't getting warm enough. The other was the iron in our room, which also was dated and didn't work right.

Hotel Dewey was perfect for a quick trip to the beach! The rates were fantastic for the location. They provided on-site parking, and had a functioning elevator which made for easy trips getting our luggage to our 2nd floor room. The room size was perfect. We had 2 queen beds, which were remarkably comfortable. The room smelled fresh, and was clean upon our arrival. Office staff and housekeeping were very friendly. We'd stay here again!
